Hello friends. I trying to rank a website for keyword how to make money. And with putting good efforts That website was in top 100 for keyword how to make money. And it was not just a Google dance. It was consistently within top 100 since more than 1 month.

But suddenly get out of top 1000. Still working hard to include it in search results. But that website is within top 100 for keyword "how to make money" The difference between the keywords is just double commas. Please suggest me what is this. My website is penalized by Google for that special keyword or that is something else.

The reason for that is when you wrap a keyword in quotes it narrows down the search. The phrase: I train dogs, will bring back more results than "I train dogs" because the words don't have to be in that particular order. Let me give you an example.

I train dogs can target many different results like I train monkeys and dogs or I ride a train with dogs or anything of that nature.

On the other hand "I train dogs" MUST be in that order to show up in the search results. In most cases you should be ranking higher for your keywords when you use the quotes because it really narrows down the results.

ya vang we must focus on exact term. But what can we do to rank for "i train dogs" and not for I train dogs. And one more thing. Very few people search in google with double commas in a phrase.

It is very common to rank much higher for quoted results than non quoted results. The reason is that a page can rank for how to make money even if those words never appear on the page. As long as there are some backlinks to the page that look like that, or words similar to that there is a chance to rank for how to make money.

On the other hand, to rank for "how to make money" the page has to have those exact words in that exact order with no extra words in between to even have a chance to rank. There are going to be fewer pages that have those exact words so there is less competition.

That being said, not many people actually search using quotes, so it's mostly useless to try to rank for quoted results.

ok. So what are your thoughts if any website is in top 100 since 1 month and then thrown out of top 1000 instantly. What can be the issue.
