Long Tail Keywords For Subdomain?

Do long tail keywords work well as a subdomain url such as the example below "weight loss diets? If so should the subdomain have dashes between the keywords or not, such as weight-loss-diets or weightlossdiets which is best for seo?

What about a long tail keyword with seven words in it, but has high search and almost no competition. Would that work in the subdomain, or is that a little too much?

    No, this is not going to work, instead of subdomain like this, use: losing-weight-reviewed.com/weight-loss-diets/
    Subdomains is considered new page with 0 authority even if your domian is dominating serp's. They are complete new entity. So its better to use your authority of main domain to rank high on serp's. Also in this case users are likely to click on your listing.

    Yes Log Tail keywords doesn't make a positive effects on your site... this is either not user friendly nor search engine friendly.....
