    According to SeoQuake there are 211 pages linking to that video.

      I'm also seeing 211 links from SEO Quake mind there are a lot of youtube videos out there with less PR with very few links.

      And I disagree with him. I've developed a website for a local business. These types of companies are not allowed to advertise (if someone mentions them, they have to request it to be taken down). There are 0 backlinks and the page is PR4. There are about 8 sentences of info.

      I've really put an effort into the site, so it is quite possible that using a lot of elements of web design properly could have affected it. Or it was given manually, beats me :shrugs:

    lol... 212 backlinks that are reported. we dont know how many backlinks arent reported. sites showing 400-500 backlinks can easily have 10-20x that amount.

    as for high pagerank, it's youtube. its initial PR is high. if that video was featured on homepage the juice from a pr9 could've leaked but it wont always remain (if that's the case)

    that high PageRank doesnt count for anything. and no, youre wrong, pagerank does come solely from backlinks and Google isn't too secretive about its formula either:
