Facebook Ads Not Showing Even Though I'm Bidding Top Dollar

My ads are frequently either barely getting shown or not getting shown at all. I put my budget at $50/day and bid the highest suggested bid for CPC and I still don't get impressions with my ads. I don't want to use CPM just yet because I want to test to see if my ads get a good enough CTR. My targeting is always at least 30,000 people. Would anybody please give me some recommendations because I'm getting frustrated with Facebook PPC

    I hear you...Facebook ads can sit there with no impressions sometimes. The way to get them going with CPC is bid even higher, even if it's more then they recommend because that system is totally off anyways, your ads will finally get impressions and then all that matter is your CTR, get a good CTR above .1 or higher and drop your bid by .9 cents every few hours and watch if it keeps the same impresssions but lowers your CPC.
