PLR - To Keyword Research Or Not???

Having read the courses of two of the gurus in the PLR arena, they disagree on whether or not to do keyword research in deciding which topics to write PLR articles and packs on.

So, if you are a buyer of PLR, would you prefer the articles have keyword research done or not?

I wouldn't worry about it. If your articles are on topic, then they can be easily adapted by each individual person for their keywords.

I personally use keywords for most of the PLR content I create. For me, it makes writing the content easier. However, because most people edit/rewrite the content before using it, it's not highly necessary.

I do not since one of the main things I point out is that the best way to use PLR articles on your site is to rewrite them and add your own keywords.

Keyword research may be helpful if you are doing a full package including a product and articles though.

I don't personally do keyword research when I write PLR. As mentioned above, most people will rewrite the articles and add their own keywords anyway. Having specific keywords could also limit your sales to a degree if you are only targeting specific keywords, whereas if you target the niche as a whole you have a much wider audience.

You also want to consider how much time you want to spend doing research and then writing your articles and if that extra time is worth what you will be earning on the PLR sales.

It depends on your process. For me, light keyword research is a good starting point to generate ideas quickly.

As a buyer of PLR, I'd rather do my own keyword research, as I'll be rewriting the articles anyway.

I would conduct my own keyword research. Rankings change overtime so the competition would differ overtime. Just put google keyword tool to good use.
