I'm new here, and I thought I'd take some time out today to show how I find good keyword rich domain names. With this process, you can find some extremely rare gems that no one else could with twice as much time.

Enjoy.

Step 1:

Open Google's Keyword Tool & search for a niche. For demonstrational purposes, I chose "Gas Fans"

Step 2:

Select "View As Text".

Step 3: Select All & Copy

Step 4:

Paste into Notepad (or comparable text editor) & select Edit - Replace.

Step 5:

In the first field hit the space bar once. In the next field, leave it blank. This will replace the " " with nothing, thus removing all the spaces and connecting the keywords into domain-ese.

Step 6:

Copy and paste it into your favorite domain search tool that offers multiple searches at a time.

Step 7:

By using the keyword tool with the domain search results, you can see which available keyword rich domain names will be the best purchase for your niche sites. As you know, a lot of people still believe Google offers preferential treatment to domains with keywords in them.

Take care, and crush the game.

Good information iDoublLe001, this is similar to the process I used before I created Keyword Miner and do it all without leaving the Adwords Keywords Tool

I expect to release it in a few weeks to automate this process.

I can personally vouch that the method, whether manually executed or automatic, works extremely well. Just take the GAKT search counts with a heavy grain of salt. I divide them by 2 in most cases.

I guess I just don't use their bulk tool, so I wouldn't know. Thanks, though.

    OP, good info.

You could scale that up with an authority site running multiple keyword landing pages & possibly double/triple your traffic, with little extra effort.

You could defiantly dominate the first page of the SERPs for the root keyword gas fans, the competition looks very weak for that keyword.

Glad I could help! I know when I figured this out I wished someone had showed me how to do it earlier. I realize a lot of the hardcore IM'ers wouldn't be new to this, but even if it helps one person: it was worth it.

Good information. But domain availability is not everything a niche sites needs. It helps a lot but it is just one piece of the puzzle.

This is true. And this one post is about that one piece of the puzzle.

I would also like to point out not to use GoDaddy's or any domain registrar's bulk check/single check because there are companies or people who have programs to pick up on what people are checking then snatch them up themselves.

I actually had a post addressing this in a different forum, on a different website. I would use Domain Name Analyzer quite often and document the "winners", sometimes without registering them right away. After coming back to them (probably when I had the money to scoop up a few at a time) they would be taken.

The subject in the other forum was regarding if I was being paranoid, or if someone had a sniffing software set up to score off the creativity and work of other people... And in my opinion, if they don't, they aren't doing their job.
