No Adsense Clicks in Past 7 Days?

Most of my IM income comes from my writing service and affiliate sales.

I also have a handful of Adsense sites which usually get 1-5 clicks a day altogether. Most of the clicks are for an amount just over or just under $1. There are also occasional $0.25 clicks or $2.00 clicks.

Eight days ago, I only received one click - worth over $10! I thought it might be a fluke and waited to see if it would be taken off my account.

The $10+ click is still there... but I have not received a SINGLE click since that day.

It has been years since I have gone over a week without even one click.

Do you think maybe it has something to do with the $10 click? or just an unusual dry spell? or something else?

Would you recommend contacting Google? waiting it out?

Thanks for any advice from someone with more Adsense experience than I have!!

I would not invite Google to look at my site over... anything really.

How long have you had this site up? Did just that 1 site stop getting clicks or all your sites? Is it a seasonal niche? Did advertisers in that niche pull out?

I have around five sites in different niches that get random clicks each day.

There hasn't been a click on ANY of them since that $10+ click day.

It is probably just a fluke, but I am just a little worried.

Thanks for the alternative ideas about what might be happening.

    Joshua - loved the $10!

aygabtu - thanks for suggesting I look at impressions. My impressions are down a little... about 10%... but when I looked closer... the drop all comes from my site that made $10+ last week.

The site only gets around 10-15 visitors a day. Last week when it had the big Adsense click, it showed 120 pageviews for that week for that site. For the past seven days, it only shows 4 pageviews for the same site. My traffic stats look the same though. What do you think that means?

The post above this one is a good exercise to ensure someone hasn't replaced your Adsense code.

Also getting an Adsense income from a site which is only getting 10-15 visitors per day is pretty hard. Just think if you were able to get it up to 120 a day your Adsense earnings could skyrocket. Also try changing your Adsense banners around. As a rule of thumb I always have a 160x600 banner in the side bar, a 250x250 in the content at the start or 728x90 above the content then also under the content. This is so much easier since using an Adsense built theme like ctr Theme.

Have you try search your keyword and look for your site if it's on the first page. If not, maybe you're going down in ranking and you gain less visitors or even none at all.
Just continue update your site and post new fresh and quality content. Avoid contacting to google to check your site because I think they will see some invalid clicks on your ads and may lead you to be banned.

There should not be any invalid clicks on my account, but I will take everyone's advice and NOT contact them... I will just wait it out.

    Thanks!!

My thought would be to check your pages and make sure that the Adsense code on your site, is still showing your publisher id. A year ago or so, I had someone hack into one of my websites and replace the adsense code with theirs. The drop in clicks, was what alerted me to the problem, you could have something similar going on.

Also, take a look at the ads that are currently displaying on the site, are they related? You could have been ad targeted by a publisher, which in some cases can be a good thing, but if the ad is not relevant or of interest to your visitors they may not be clicking it.

Hope you get it worked out.

As you said your pageviews are down to 4 from 120...so the possible reasons may be

Your site might have caught up in an algo change
The Rankings might have gone down
Your site is hit by PANDA
