My site is getting impressions for porn keywords. How?!

Check these impressions from my web master tools. My site is not porn related in the slightest and does not even contain those keywords. I'm unsure of how it's ranking for these. The words blacked out are some of the keywords my site does rank for, to avoid competition I've hidden them.

Does this my site is actually ranking for those keywords? Very strange.

Has anyone had this happen or know why this happens?

I know lol. There is nothing on the site with that phrase though. All the articles are written and published by myself and I don't allow comments or any user input on the site so it can't be anything related to that.

I've ran checks for the keywords, and the singular keywords for each phrase such as "panties" and there is nothing.

I must admit that is very strange. Not sure how you're getting those impressions when your site doesn't contain those phrases.

if your site doenst contain any of those related phrases its quite strange - possibly from a dodgy Xrumer blast or scrapebox blast that added some naughty keywords! have you checked your backlink profile to see if any odd anchor text is being used? otherwise this shouldnt happen - it could also befrom a competitor trying to get your penalized somehow

Hmmm. That may be the case. I have not used any automated tools on this site as it's a personal site that I take a fair amount of pride in, but, I usually use some Angela's back links and publish articles on article sites. The site is related to music production tutorials and gets decent traffic.

What's odd is I was speaking with the company who I promote products for. I make some decent conversions and they was asking how my sites appear above theirs in Google. I just told them I do a lot of hard, honest, labor. They seemed a little annoyed, although they was happy for me to continue.

Maybe they've recruited some oDesk workers or outsources some type of sabbotage attack against my site.

    That certainly does seem likely.

I doubt the company was happy that you are outranking them

If it's a Wordpress theme/site they sometimes have hidden base64 code that will only show links to sites like porn, viagra, etc... on the Google cache text only page.

You can't see the text/links on your page but Google can easily see it.

Just saying it's possible & common with Wordpress.

I'm just throwing this out there. Do you have any photos/graphics on your website that in any way might be in any way entwined with that keyword? I'm not saying porn necessarily, but anything graphic at all?

A lot of those results could be results turned up in google images. My 4th or 5th keyword I'm ranking for on one of my sites is actually because of a picture of a common item (a jar of honey) shows up near the top of google images when you type in honey. Funny thing is, nowhere (alt txt or anything) do I call it a jar of honey. Google has an amazing algorithm as far as pictures go that can determine what is actually in the picture whether you indicate it or not. Especially if that image is used on other sites.

      Amazing, but not perfect.

      This.

Check your pages by viewing the Google cache, ESPECIALLY those pages that are bringing you traffic already for these porn related keywords.

No doubt you were hacked and its using the exact technique yukon explained above.

Since porn is one of the biggest things searched for online,
why not just go with it? Enjoy the ride. Unless you have
      adsense on it, of course.

A downside is that many people block such things.

You can easily find these things using cpanel, etc.,
although even the files can look hidden at that
level too. Any site that uses any type of php,
mysql, asp, etc. is prone to these things.

Way back I had a header that was always getting
zapped. My host was at a loss too, until upgrading.
The way I took care of that was to name the header.php
something else. Then there was no header.php to attack.
Temporary band-aid and you should really clean house
and contact your host. Change your password as well
      frequently.

Just think of the tons of people that get attacked like
that and never have a clue.
