Hello, My name is Travis, I'm 15 years old, a sophomore in highschool and trying to learn how about making adsense sites and SEOing them to the top. If anybody could please take the time to answer a couple of my questions it would help me tremendously.

What did you all use to get started on this? Any specific eBooks, learning sites?

Do you know if there is anybody who would like, be my mentor and teach me most of what they know? or websites that do that? If they cost what's there rates? I have things we could contact through like: Skype, MSN, Facebook, and unlim. texting.

First off, congrats on joining the forum! It's a great place to learn, but be veeeeery careful of getting wrapped up in 'shiny object syndrome'...You'll quickly find yourself never getting any work done.

To answer your question - If you're looking for Adsense advice then I would recommend the Adsense Master's Course by John 'XFactor'. It's really solid.

That being said, all the information you need is freely available on this forum, but it won't be compiled all nicely. Either way, you probably want to spend a week or so constructing a solid plan of action. Then take consistent action, no matter what. You WILL fail, so just get used to that idea...It's the people that keep trying that make it in IM.

I'm always glad to see a newbie getting started, especially a youngster like yourself (wish I'd started earlier...). Best of luck to you!

    Kindly,
    - Stephen

    Welcome to the family Travis,

i can suggest you some sites that can help you learn the beginners and advanced level seo easily

SEOMOZ.ORG is one of my favorite, you will get an e-book that will guide you with basic stuff and rest will be in their blog updates.
Then its SEOBOOK and GOOGLEWEBMASTERCENTRAL blog and SEJouranl etc.

Wish you best of luck for your startup.

    Hey

I think so far this is one of the best WEBSITE based forums online.

Ask questions and people will answer them.

I myself have recently begun writing an E-Book which will give away the secrets to making SICK BANK WITH ADSENSE

Only a few days ago I was a novice. But you too can learn to Retire with Adsense Click Money.

I would ask questions and listen.

Check out my weak blog on Liposuction. Only a few days ago there was no visitors. Now I am getting lots of traffic and people dancing around and jumping off through those sweet Adsense Ads.

Thanks everybody for all the welcomes, but for eBooks I think I'm just going to stick to Adsense Master's Course Micro Niches and Google Domination. This week my goals are to have my first site up and start submitting articles to article directories.

That is a smart decision to take what you learn in those two and then take action. All the teaching in the world will not help if you don't take action.
What you learn in the micro niche course will prepare you for waht you need to know. The main addition in the authority course is write many more articles in a larger niche. Instaed of doing a micro niche site on dishwashers, you could do an authority site on kitchen appliances.
But the main thing is to get started.

Shiny Object Syndrome is so true!! That being said, be willing to drop projects that really do suck. I used to work for a company that 'taught people to make money online'. They were not so great, to put it bluntly.

Pick a product, carry it through to the end, and if you're still not making money, don't be afraid to drop it--but don't drop it until you've gone all the way through!
