Hi,

My adsense account was banned by google because it "poses a risk of generating invalid activity".

It was 5 years old account and I was not doing anything that is against the policy (as far as I know).

The only thing that may have rsulted in the ban can be one of the site that is ranking #1 for a good keyword(2000+ daily searches).

Anyway, can you please advise how to move ahead? What is the best way to proceed further and how to monetize my sites? Is there any chance to get it back?

Thanks

Can you link your site? That way we can determine what went wrong

    I'd monetize my sites immediately.

Try using Amazon and rearrange your design for maximum sales.

First monetize the site with other ads. Second send an appeal that you would have received from Google. It will take a while for Google to respond.

This is why I decided to spend the time to create a business that wasn't based on any one outside company that is beyond your control.

You can get into other paid systems and promote them on your site.

But what I find is the best is to put up a squeeze page and start to build a list.

So far, I have pretty much figured out what to offer someone regardless of the niche.

Then once you build the list, you can offer lots of different programs and things to them over time while offering them lots of valuable information.

Also, I don't just depend on Google for my traffic either.

So this way, I own the site, I own the list, I offer different things so if any one program stops, I have other ones and I get traffic in other methods other than Google.

This gives you about as much control over your business as you can have.

    Good luck.

Ah so true...however....this is a much different business approach than adsense on your sites. I will agree with you though in that the rewards in building a list and actual business asset is well worth it. Might take much longer though to make money from your list vs adsense.

But in response to the guy posting this. Well try and appeal to google, but in all honesty try and monetize via another avenue....neverblue cpa offers work well.

    That sucks!!! I'm really sorry......

If WF members still aren't paying attention, they should be....

Adsense isn't a reliable, long-term, income solution. Sure, it's nice while
it lasts. Sure, you can stay within the guidelines. But all it takes is a
competitor to come in and click-bomb our ads for someone at Google
to take notice and kill your account. No second chances. That's it.

My recommendation to everyone is always have a backup plan. Don't
put all your eggs in one basket so that Google can come in and kill it.

As others mentioned, start looking at diversifying. Did you see a company
that regularly was advertising through Adsense on your site(s)? If so, see if
they have an affiliate program. Chances are your site was doing well for them
and that they'll have a CPA program. Sign up and begin making commissions on
    those sales.

Did you use Google Analytics to check and control your site activity?
Did you notice suspicious things then?
Did you report them to Google support team?
Maybe it was the reason for ban...

I would like to know to what niche your site belongs? If you are interested, we can propose our services concerning your traffic monetisation. So, PM me if things go wrong.

It's sad to acknowledge but Google isn't any reliable. However, it's one of the easiest and most paying among the CPC advertisers. I'm quite vulnerable but my income isn't good to be any upset as of yet.
Probably creating some info products and selling it is by far the best option IMO. However, I don't have any products. So, I need to hunt for some good affiliate sites!

    Hi All,

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Daniel -- I have put Amazon links and Infolinks ads. Lets see how it goes. Any tips to maximize sales??

REVSEO -- I don't know much about advertisers but I do have seen some of the big brands like Nokia, Ford etc ads.

BizzCLick -- I am not using Google Analytics and not sure about any suspicious activity.

The biggets problem is that there are not much alternatives to adsense.

    Thanks

I would say do not rely upon Adsense all the time. I simply love adsense but I got my most successful website banned without giving me a second chance to correct my silly mistake.
I am using affiliate ads along with adsense all the time to diversify my earnings.

Their are other good alternative services like chitka, infolinks and some more which are very similar to adsense the only problem is that adsense pay relatively more on clicks

Can you show us the URL of this site?
What makes you think that this was the reason?

You can set up a second Adsense account. Enyone can have 2 accounts. 1 personal. 2 corporate.

Make sure you place ad blocks correctly. There are many tips given by Google how to avoid common mistakes.

Although Adsense is one of the most profitable monetization methods, you can move on and use other networks. Try both PPC and CPA and you'll see what works better for you.

Not sure which website caused this ban.

What are the requirements for a business account and what is the process?

      Thanks

As far as I know the reg process for biz account is the same. You just submit your biz name and address instead of your personal info.
