Whenever you get a higher CTR that your CPC goes down?

    Sometimes it's the opposite.

    But there are several reasons.

    The auction is dynamic.

    Your page score is dynamic.

Top notch adwords users with high CTR
    get a lower CPC.

Some of the clicks may have been invalid.

The ads that work well, over time, on your
site, will invariably be rewarded with a lower CPC.

Google puts ads on your site for what they think
people want. Not the highest bidder.

I feel your pain. Frustrating for one day to get a few
clicks, kick butt in the $ department, then next day
get boatloads of clicks and less money! Ah...the day
to day trials of an adsense user!

Yes, sometimes it's the opposite, so it's not directly related.
It may change in your case.
