Hey everyone! With all this talk about "make your links look like organic backlinks", I started to wonder, Why EXACTLY does everyone mean by this. I get it, make them look like they are happening naturally and not manually. However, lets get down to the nitty-gritty. WHAT DO YOU MEAN?

I recently read some where a guy wrote: " DIVERSITY + AUTHORITY + IN SUBJECT = Key to SEO"

I am not new to SEO, i've been doing for about 2 years now, my main goal right is to nail down a system and then rinse and repeat.

So...are you new or do you have two years experience?

You answered your own question. An organic backlink is one that occurs naturally. If you are asking how to make manual backlinks look natural, I couldn't tell you. I would be under the impression though that if you are generating a load of unnatural backlinks (i.e. you bought 500 or whatever. Idk, it's not a market I know anything about), whoever you are trying to impress (i.e. Google) will eventually figure out what you did anyways.

Just my 2 cents, I'm sure someone who knows more on the subject has a better answer.

Sorry, Typo. I am NOT new to SEO, However, I am not means an expert. When I started out 2 years ago i had Z E R O internet or webpage experience. Seriously, I didn't even know what "hosting a webpage meant".

Anywho, yes, I understand the true definition of "organic back linking". Just wondering what it would look like if I was to recreate this. Every SEO expert who seems to have there SEO system nailed down says "think about what organic back linking looks like, and do that".

Well, what the heck does "organic back linking" look like?!?

I guess he/she is only 2 years new

Organic linking...with the introduction of nofollow and all that crap? Well its dead, the big G created the linkophobia already

However, if you end up seeing someone linking to your site, without you knowing him, or he knowing you, but the link is solely pointing to your site because the "writer" is not willing to go on an explain something that has already been explained to the link he points (your site), in my book would mean: natural linking.

GRRRR.. Yes, I know all of that....

Let me try to explain myself again. HERE IS what I someone just posted to me in another thread...." You have to understand how websites get organic backlinks. Once you understand that you can duplicate that process."

My question is what does everyone do to get backlinks that "look" natural. I out source a lot. To good people, and get good results. In order to get good our sourcing results I need to specific. I can't just say to the people I am outsourcing to please give me "80 organic looking back links".
For those who do SEO what do you EXACTLY mean by "natural looking backlinks"? Do you mean in subject, and diverse (combo of blog posts, forums, directories, bookmarks, ect. ) or I am missing a key step. I AM TALKING ALL OFF PAGE SEO.

Didn't know, so in sake of not mistaking I added he/she, sorry & thanks for enlightening me.

Pretending an answer, using bold phrases and capitalizing to people that are trying to "open your eyes" is not going to help. So if you know how and what a natural link building process is/looks like then you should already know how to "recreate it" so it looks natural.

          Cheers.

What's the original thread? I may be off (my sarcasm meter is running on high this morning); but it almost seems like they were telling you to just let links build naturally instead of trying to make other links look natural. In an underhanded way of course.

Forget what they said. I could go back and find 15 cases where someone who is making big $ in SEO says the key in SEO it is to have "natural looking" back links, but I don't have the time.

I think everyone is mission the point.

In your opinion HOW DOES A PERSON DO THIS? That is the question...

I'm not "mission" the point at all. As I stated in my first post in the thread: I am no expert and therefore cannot give you the answer you are looking for. I'm just giving my opinion. Common sense would dictate that the best way to get "natural looking" backlinks would be to actually build them naturally. What's the point of trying to "game" the system when the next algo update will probably make all the work for naught anyways?

I think it would be better to build your links naturally. Of course, it is your business, so do as you please. I hope someone comes along to give you the answer you are looking for.
