Hello all...

I have lots of experience with affiliate sites (primarily Amazon) and PPC. If you are having problems with AdWords when trying to promote your affiliate site, post your issue here and I'll try to make some suggestions.

PS. A link to the URL you are trying to promote would be immensely helpful if you are looking for concrete feedback.

I got question for you. If I had good review site and landing page about iphone which is an affiliate with amazon. Do you think adwords accept this ads becoz of the trademark iphone?

I read alot about your thread and your ebooks its simply amazing.

There was a time when a trademarked term was out of bounds. However, as long as the domain does not infringe on the trademark, you should be OK as long as the ad / keyword selections are along the lines of "iphone review" and such.

Keep in mind that anything with a trademarked term (URL, ad, keyword) will probably take longer to get approved.

Many folks, for whatever reason, believe this.

      However, it is not true.

Amazon does not want you direct-linking from AdWords ads and Google will only approve QUALITY landing pages.

Thanks bro for answering my question.. I already got google slap twice. Now I have new account ready to lunch my new campaign as I type this. It seems weird they banned my adwords account just becoz I have quality score 4/10 even though my ads approved.. My landing page method right now same as before just like squeeze page but alot of content when I got banned but this time I added silo site to please google. I learnt it from ppcformula. Hopefully it works...

I've seen some of advertiser that have simple landing page with little content and surprisingly on top 3 ads ranking... This make me thinking how the hell they did that..

Your QS Was low because, in all likelihood, your site/landing page was disallowed. Once that happens, the site must be submitted for manual review before any other campaigns are run for it. Failure to do so usually results in a ban.

Hey I have a newbie question if you can help me:

When in the process of creating my site should I put ads/affiliate links - should I do it from the get go or only when I get to a good serp?

wouldn't you want to do it after you got traffic only since you won't have any traffic to click on them assuming that traffic was driven via serp's.

Nope. I've never seen any ill effects whatsoever. Of course, adding too many links and ads can cause problems though.

      I have 2 more questions:

      1. If I use CPA/Affiliate links.. does my article always have to be aimed to sell/review that specific product or can my article can just be on the subject and link to the affiliate product/ have cpa ads ?

      2. Can you recommend on a decent ppc replacement for adsense

      thanks

When I created my campaign, it still give me quality score 4/10. I think my site already good. Got disclaimer, privacy policy etc on footer, keyword in H1,tags, etc. I deleted my campaign when I saw 4/10 becoz i'm afraid I will get another google slap again..

Or is it becoz of my design landing page? Do you think that disclaimer, privacy policy, etc works on footer only or it needs to be on top menu?

None of this has anything to do with quality score.

May I know most quality score depend on what factor? Is it the ads that contain the keyword? My ads got keyword on title, body and display URL still got 4/10..

If your site has been disapproved (and you haven't asked for a re-evaluation), your QS will be awful regardless of how good your ads/landing page are.

How much content are you providing? Is it unique? What are you bidding? What is your CTR for the landing page?

There are TONS of factors that make up the QS.

I don't have any CTR yet becoz I create new adwords account. Yes the content quite good I think. I'm bidding a local keyword here in Malaysia which has low competition. Right now I take down my website which is html page and create new landing page using wordpress. Can you take a look on my website once I get it upload if you don't mind?

      Hi,

I would really appreciate some help from anyone. I just launched a new website about selling video testimonials, bought an adwords coupon and started the advertising there to see how it works. I got 43 impressions, 8 clicks and after that my account was suspended because "Landing Page Policy" and "Billing Information". It's true that i haven't submitted any credit card, but i don't really understand why i got suspended about the Landing Page.

Here is my website: get-video-testimonials.com if someone can take a look at it and tell me what can i do, what to change in order to get accepted at a second review. Can this be because i am processing payments through paypal and i link directly there? Should i change and put a submission form first and then the Paypal payment? Should i add more content, change the title, the images are not alright? Please i need help because i am desperate about this thing.

I also have a second website where i sell facebook likes, twitter followers, google+ and so on and after 5 days i got suspended for the same reason as above. Am i not aloud to use Facebook, Twitter in the name of the ad? Am i not aloud to target keywords like "buy facebook likes"? Then why do they suggest me those keywords? I process payments through Paypal again and as far as i heard this does comply with Google's Policy.

Here's my other website if someone wants to take a look at it and give me some suggestions: get-social-fans.com

This is not a promotion of my websites!!! I really need some help and i know i have only a few posts on WF, but i am not a spammer.

      Thanks,
      Mihai
