Hi,

I was planning to invest 10K$ on my site Classiqa.com throught Adwords for getting traffic.

I outsourced a software company for creating complete new site which will have better visitor experience and engage them more with the website. It is ready and I will upload it very soon.

Now I would like to have some help and suggestions from your guys.

If I invest 10K$ in advertising with Adwords in six months, will it give me some kind of consistent income. Right now I dont make much with my current website traffic because it is not of good quality ..30$ per month.

Will I get a decent income once I invest the amount and how much on average do you think I can recover from the 10K invested..

I really looking forward for your suggestions.

Present alexa ranking... 112327
Page Rank : 3

Firstly, I would recommend to improve your SEO. Just try to get higher in Google.
Secondly, monetize your site correctly, make a plan how you are planning to make some money.

To be more particular, yeah, you can get back your invested money pretty fast. I guess you should hire some Adwords specialists who would help you to work with adwords. As well you have an option not to invest all 10k stretch. Just try with $500 for the first week then you can decide what should be your next step. Good luck!

I think with this one it's a little bit of a stretch. It's impossible to tell how things will turn out.

You could be the next craigslist though who knows. I certainly like your layout a little bit more

      Hi classiqa,

You will definitely get decent traffic with an AdWords campaign, and if you manage your campaigns properly you will get targeted traffic. However, whether you make money or not depends a great deal on how well optimized you landing pages are for conversions.

Hopefully, you made conversion optimization a priority of your new web site design. Unfortunately most website designers know next to nothing about designing for high conversion rates. You typically need a firm with extensive marketing experience to achieve a well optimized landing page design.

It is just a matter of proper keyword research, market segmentation, ad copy writing, A/B Split testing, bidding strategy, bid management and landing page testing and optimization, applied to a solid business model.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I am looking for a professional company who can manage Adwords campaign and optimize to get maximum results.

Before that I was planning to run a pilot campaign of 300$ which can give me a brief idea on how things may work.

      Is it worth,

I got a quotation from a company which is involved into managing PPC campaign effectively.

My monthly budget for my website is around 1100$. And to run this campaign on monthly basis they are asking for 150$.

Is it worth ? They are professionals and are into this business since few years.

So just wanted to know your thought on this.

You should run a test on all conversion landing pages and play around until you are happy with the conversions.

Then I would split the budget, some for adsense for immediate impact and then the rest on seo to get organically ranked. Seo will be better and much cheaper in the long run as long as it is done right!

Are you selling something or making $$$ through adsense on your site? If it is the later, your goal should be to make enough money through adsense to offset your adwords cost. Thus your $1100 per month budget should be paid for by the income from adsense, so your net cost should be $0. That should be your goal initially. Once you run the campaign for a month or two, you should make more money than you are spending and you can actually cut back on your adwords campaign costs because organic traffic will increase your ad revenue.

This is based on your site being good enough and your adwords CPC being low enough.

Yea, the PPC campaign takes 2 months for its maturation thats what the company which I am planning to hire is saying about it.

2 months for maturation and after maturation, great organic traffic with low investments that's what the PPC expert guys are saying.

I thought I myself should run a pilot campaign as I have been using ppc earlier.

What do you guys think about this...first trying out by myself.

I'd spend the $10K in SEO instead.. If you need traffic ASAP, then do like $2K in adwords. If you do it right they'll match you $300 in free ads per $300 spent your first time. Just call and tell them to do it. Think long-term not short term. Once that $$ is blown through, then what? Another $10K..

Thanks for the advice, I have planned for SEO and working on it. For a while I have dropped the Idea of using Adwords for PPC. I am taking up few keywords and trying to get on top with the help of an SEO optimizing company.
