Adsense is a numbers game: how much traffic you can get to your site (T), times how many of them click an ad - a conversion (C), times how much you get for each click - Earnings Per Click (E):

    T x C x E

You can go for high-dollar ads by targeting high-dollar keywords, and/or keywords that will bring a lot of traffic (high volume and/or easy to get top rankings). The conversions will depend on your layout.

In "Adsense $100k Blueprint", we advocate going for 'secondary' niches in 'informational' categories. Many of these are higher-dollar keywords, and often are higher search volume and easier to rank for. They also convert very well.

Some examples of 'informational' categories would be vocational training / careers / certificate programs such as health care professionals (i.e. nursing), legal (i.e. legal aid, paralegal), etc. 'Secondary' keywords then might include 'nursing schools', 'registered nursing programs', 'paralegal certification', 'legal aid jobs', etc.

You can check out the review thread for 'Adsense $100k Blueprint' here: http://www.warriorforum.com/internet...lueprint.html; some others are from Warriors Clickbump and Steve Crooks.

Just because your an internet marketer doesn't mean you should be targeting other internet marketers (with Adsense). Adsense is the last thing I would use to target other internet marketing traffic.

Your forum sig. is doing just that & like I would expect, you say it's not doing so well.

Not sure why your sig. is promoting something that you say is they way to make money & at the same time your posting a thread saying it's not working out so well.

Which is it? Is it working or not?

My site provides a true tips and information. All the methods I wrote were working well for my previous blogs but with different niche. And I did make money with Adsense before with my previous blogs. But since I want to try something new, I try "make money online" niche but maybe because the niche I chose has a lot of competitions or maybe I didn't do a lot of promotions, I don't get much traffic. So, all I'm asking is there any niche that is less competitive and earn quite fine from Adsense?

In general, the best, or most profitable, markets for adsense include include finance, education, health, and relationships. And for each market, you need to drill down to find its sub-markets. Then, within each sub-market, you go down deeper to find your niche.

There's a relevant article in my website about choosing the right niche that applies to adsense, too.

You can click on the link in my signature to enter my website. Then click on the "how you can start" tab on the top menu. You'll find that post under Business Design Part 4. (Sorry I couldn't post the link now as I'm new here)

    Hope that helps!

Make sure that whatever niche you are in, it is one that genuinely interests you and that you can get excited about, at least when it counts.

One of the best niches for making money with adsense is the one that is high competative according to the Google Keyword Tool and at the same time have high CPC, which means a lot of bidders with high cost per click.

Then you should find a keyword in the same niche, but it should be low competative (according to all these SEO tools) - i.e. first positions in google should be easy to rank.

I think saying ZYZ niche in Adsense is profitable, is a misnomer

Profitable is only defined by amount of money you make per day/month etc

so if a "niche" is defined as profitable because the CPC is high? thats ridiculous

thats like me saying, this business is profitable because I charge a high price for my merchandise. Who cares what the price is if you dont have customers

with Adsense "customers" = traffic who clicks on your ads X CPC for those ads

so IT TOTALLY DEPENDS ON THE COMPETITION for the kws...........the CPC has nothing to do with it, (in and of itself) it must be taken into context

If I Have high CPC but I cant get onto the first page because of high competition then that does me no good

I have to agree here. A lot of people fail to assess the top 10 competition to determine whether or not they will be able to rank for a specific keyword. Still, CPC will come into play at some point, simply for the fact that you want to ensure that you will be rewarded with a decent pay rate once you are able to nab the top spot for your keyword. Last thing you want to do is not even think about CPC, get ranked and realize that you did all that work for a keyword that pulls in $0.05 per click.

You're right though - CPC is just a piece of the overall puzzle. Always good to make sure everything else checks out before you start tackling a certain keyword phrase.

When it comes to making money with adsense..

The niche you choose does not matter, what matters is the CPC(Cost per Click), number of search and competition..

Use Google Keyword tool, find a keyword which has low competition, good number of search(atleast +1000 exact search per month) and CPC atleast $1..

But here the big question is now to find such a keyword..

They are certain tools which can do this for you or if you cannot afford buying it, then use the advanced option which you find in Google Keyword Tool..

If you want to know more then PM me..

You have that totally backwards, If your running the keyword tool for organic SERP competition..

The competition on the GKT is for Adwords, you would most defiantly want that GKT competition to be as high as possible. Keep in mind that's paid search competition. Still it should carry over to the contexual tool on GKT. Example, the keyword car insurance will most likely have high Adwords competition on both search & Google display network, which is great for anyone running Adsense.

Still, CPC is only one of many factors Google will use to deliver the Adsense Ad.

You can use free tools like:
      - GKT
      or paid:
      - Market Samurai
      - Long Tail Pro

But I would like to point out that highest CPC keywords do not mean that you will be making big money. For example you can go for keywords from insurance niche and in Google Keyword Tool you can see that CPC is 25 USD, but you must remember that this is average what advertisers are paying for showing their ads in SERP. AdSense is part of Google's Delivery Network and here CPC is much lower, and if you are targeting keyword with SERP CPC of 25 USD, on your site it would be worth about 1-3 USD.

So, the key is the term(s) and not necessarily the niche, correct? Any niche can be profitable if the CPC is high and you can rank high enough for that particular keyword to get the traffic?

    Thanks

your question at the beginning of the thread was asking what niche to go into to make money with adsense. That is such an open-ended question and your answers from warriors will be all over the place. Yeah every niche out there is a potential adsense money maker. It all boils down to getting ranked and getting traffic to your site...the rest is easy. You need to test out ad placements and the like but really any niche will make you money with adsense.

Lately I am looking kws, doesnt matter the niche

    What matters?

    1. total monthly searches (local exact) about 5000, preferably 10k-15k. Of course I will take less
but I am looking for a GROUP of kws that can be strung together in a niche blog, where the total monthly searches adds up to 15k to 20k. I dont want to waste time backlinking sets of kws with 500 searches per month each

    2. CPC (not the normal CPC you see next to the kws) the CPC must come from Contextual tool in Google adwords tool. Try to aim for about $2 here, $3 and higher is even better

    3. Top ten google competition is less than 100 backlinks for several of the top 3 sites. and also look for NO onpage SEO for that term. N N N N in Market Samurai SEO analysis, on kw in title, url, header, and description (this is ideal, of course most have some Y showing there) Also I look for any kws with domains less than one year old scoring high on the rankings

I suggest that you should choose a niche that you are passionate about, it's the best niche you've ever had. For example, if you are passionate about fashion, you should create a fashion blog and put Adsense ads to it.
