Opinion From The SEO Experts... (golden keywords inside)

...the real ones!

I'm just going to out some keywords here because I don't think anyone is going to put in the time to go after these. I'm considering making either 1 very large site or 5 large sites each targeting a separate keyword.

The keywords are:
Pharmacy Technician
Ultrasound Technician
X Ray Technician
Radiology Technician
Veterinary Technician

So, let's say I'm willing to write 100-500 on each of these. Would it be better to put these all on 1 site in a silo (possibly with sub silos) or just dedicate a single site to each?

I like the idea of one site because I could always add new medical positions, etc. But these aren't exactly easy keywords, so if single sites are better I'll do that.

Yep these are gold with Adsense. High value clicks+++.

I'm in another technician niche (not listed above), I have sub-pages targeting it to provide information for training, certification, finding jobs, etc. But my site itself targets the whole industry, providing information for both consumers and professionals who work in it.

If you're going to do it, I'd suggest staying in one industry rather than crossing over and mixing it up. One large site based on medical jobs/positions would be best. Tip. People like to search for salary information on these jobs

Yeah, lots of good technician words. Just can't figure out if it's better to make a site for each or one huge site. The individual sites wouldn't be small, I'm talking 100-500 pages each probably.

I'm not sure if I'd consider myself an "expert", but I'd recommend going with five websites.

Having your site dedicated to a smaller number of keywords makes it much easier to rank for those keywords, and with competitive terms like those, you'll need all the advantage you can get!

Also, since you plan on making each site 100+ pages, this is still large enough to evade any "Panda Wrath" that some micro-niche sites may feel.

The harder I work, the luckier I get.

That's my initial thought as well. But considering they're all somewhat related I wasn't sure if could build some super duper authority if I had a 2,000 page site related to medical technicians.

      Still not sure...
