Hello! I need advice. I saw google ranks some pages of facebook for low competition terms. Now, I want to rank my page for a low-medium competition term. Do you think google will rank it if I build links from good blog network to the page and page itself has keywords in title and in url (facebook username), and is optimised? Or does google hate facebook and wont rank facebook page? Or it doesnt care? Facebook has pr 9 - its more than few countries google has (like google.ru, google.co.uk, etc.). So, does google hate facebook or not? Does it rank good facebook pages or not? I am lost a bit in thinking about it. Can someone advice me? May be someone has expirience? Thanks everyone in advance and Merry Christmas!!!

Many said Bing is copying Google. But from this post and from many other instances it is evident that Google is 'smartly' copying some features of Bing instead. For example -
    1) Image search
    2) The preview
    3) Now the number of search results

I have gone through a post saying that Google may include the comments made public in its search results. Its advantageous and you may have a Facebook page with lots of comments for your keywords.

I think now days search engine consider social media result of website while giving away ranking. For giving ranking search engine get opinion of social media group about the website then give ranking.

Before this on-page and off-page were the key factors for ranking on google search engine but now it has added this new option...

Google ranks Facebook pages pretty well, especially if there is some relevant content on the pages. So try and make sure you create a page that provides value in some way - post relevant videos from time to time (you may even create your own videos on the topic, upload them to Youtube and post them on the page).

Also add other content like pictures and text, of course, to add some additional value to the page.

This should lead to natural increase of people who will like your page and to more social interaction and therefore to better rankings.

Exactly. And linking to it will help but do it naturally and don't spam.

Facebook gets tons of traffic from Google every day. When you google someone's name, you'll probably get Facebook in the top position.

Since, social networking pages are password protect... Content which is public to the audience is crawlable for search engines. And, Google does rank such content in SERP rankings.
