Can I bid on my affiliate's keyword?

I am promoting a dating website.in my reviews I am giving them 5 star.The best.
when I do a search on keyword for example Asiansingles their website comes up and mine on the right.

does this cause any problem?The keyword is Asiansingles which itelf has a meaning Asian Singles.I am afraid to ask my affiliate why make an issue if it's not.Any advise is appreciated.

As long as it's not explicitly forbidden somewhere in the TOS, I'd go for it, it's not like you are directing traffic to a competitor by using their brand.

Is this your product or are you really the affiliate?

If you are the affiliate check the pay-per-click and keyword bidding policies of the merchant, before you do this. You wouldn't want to have spent a lot of money bidding, just to have all the sales reveresed.

If you are the merchant, it's your product, do what you want.

  I am an affiliate no place it says I can not bid on Asiansingles keyword.it's like saying you can not use American singles it's taken.

Read their TOS. Some strictly forbid it, and if they catch you, you'll get yourself banned!
