Best Adsense plugin for Wordpress?

If it's for a MFA(Made For Adsense) site I would use adsense specific themes such as CTRtheme, Bluesense, HeatMap theme, etc instead of adsense plugins

I used this sometime back - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/adsense-manager/

My favorite is - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-insert/

It's not made for Adsense site. I just want to use Adsense to monetize the traffic. Anyway thanks for your input

  I just had a look for the link for you and it looks like it's no longer supported although it still works well.
  
  I might have to also look for a alternative if it stops working in future wordpress updates and yes you can post ad anywhere on site with it.

WordPress › Post Layout « WordPress Plugins

I love it! You can plug in whatever ad code you want and have it show up before, in the middle, and/or after the content. You can also choose not to display it on certain pages/posts.

I use Heatmap Pro and am really happy with it. I have used CTR which I thought was a little to ugly for what I wanted, Clickbump which is an excellent theme but found I liked Heat Map Pro better due to it's placement options and it has a better click through rate as well.

Stay away from CTR theme , google already hates this one, many people using it, after I changed my CTR themes sites with free wordpress themes my sites increased ranks...

I am planning to use a theme from Elegant Themes, and then put Adsense ads. is there any plugin that will work with it.

i heard of one, which was "Why Do Work". Is it any good? or is it even alive?

Like Steven, I vouch for Quick Adsense as well. With this you can customize your adsense to be posted within your content. Meaning you can pick how many paragraphs you want above the adsense. Seems to be a more "Post-Panda-friendly" way of adsense placement when done this way

That is a really interesting statement which I'll wager you cannot back up with any factual references....of course you did say "seems".

Here is my problem with your statement. Most optimized themes are following the basic recommendations issued by the Google Adsense optimization team for ad placement. If this is WRONG..then why do they keep promoting placing your ads in that manner?

I rather doubt Panda takes Adsense ad placement into consideration at all.

Then again....I cannot point to any factual proof other than it does not make sense to believe one department at Google is promoting an ad placement system which is at odds with what another Google department is declaring as a quality fault.

Most people do not understand what "Panda" is. They think its google just out to get everyone and make their lifes miserable. Panda has nothing to do with adsense. It has a lot to do with poor quality/spun/garbage and mfas that targer one keyword like "this-is-the-crappiest-of-crap-domain-namehq.info". Lol

It would be better for you to use link manually then using different plug-inns.Placement play a great role in the earning of adsense.

Whatever plug-in you go with, read the fine print.

There are many adsense insertion plug-ins out there that will enable revenue sharing and take a cut of your earnings!

You would want to test and experiment with the adsense plugins with good rating and also adsense made themes.

You will get different results depending on your niche.
