Hi.

I have found a keyword with 10.000+ uniques every month (according to google tool) but it seems that nobody bids for it in adwords. Searching also in google for with that keywordt, i see no ads in the results.

Still it could bring traffic for me.

What do you think ?

thanks

    Only you can decide.

Well since the website is a travel related portal, and since i use adsense for monetization ... publishers are needed.

Don't forget to do an [EXACT] search with the Google Adwords Keyword Tool to get the exact search for that keyword.

By the sounds of it I would stray away if you were looking to monetize with adsense.

Look around though, have you searched for other ways that you could monetize the site to take advantage of the 10,000 searches?

Adsense obviously is not the only way to monetize a site and if you think you could rank for the keywords it could very well be worth looking into monetizing in other ways.

Just to verify, you are doing your search using a tool like Google Global which lets you see USA results and not another countries?

If I do a search for many phrases here in the Philippines I come up with ZERO advertisers, but when I click my Google Global and switch to the USA it is loaded with advertisers.

Not sure where you are located, but thought it might be part of the reason you are seeing your results.

Use Googles contextual tool to find high paying keywords in the same niche and then have some articles written for them and add them to a menu titled Most Popular Articles which will hook people into reading them. This way you can target high CPC adsense ads for those articles.
