Rejected by adsense. Now what?

I've been helping my gf set up a blog about coffee. She applied for adsense and was denied. Her site is just getting started and really, there isn't much there yet, as she was kind of waiting for adsense to kick in. Her site was rejected, adsense saying they didn't think she could turn it into anything worthwhile and that they didn't think it would make money.

So now what? Should she get the website going and apply again? Any other ideas would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Prove them wrong. Build it up. You should have done that before submitting it to Adsense, but it's possible to get approved once it is built.

Adsense isn't the only monetization for a coffee site. Amazon has some great coffee products that pay more than Adsense, but again ... build it first. Monetize it when it is developed.

You could also set up a blog on blogspot.com and apply to adsense through that. I have yet to see them refuse someone that way.

They didn't refuse you because of that. Apply again with a different site.

What do you mean by this?

Also, she doesn't have another site to apply with.

Adsense is not the only way of generating income. Post good content daily. Decide who your target market is going to be. Find out what they are already buying and what problems and challenges can you help them solve. Find similar sites on coffee and copy some of the things you like about them. How are they monetizing their site? I have a friend in the coffee business that can be of help in this area. His name is Myron Golden.

    Here is his website:

    Trash Man To Cash Man

    Good luck,

Did you have a privacy policy and contact form on your site?

Having a Privacy policy is part of the adsense TOS, contact form is part of the webmaster guidelines which is part of the adsense TOS.

Hi Steve. Do you have Myron's site on coffee? Or did you mean he could help in a different way? Thanks for the lead.

      Contact form? Check.

Privacy policy? Oops! Looks like that's missing. I'll have her fix that. Thanks for pointing this out.

I wouldn't worry about adsense, work on making it a better website. Once your website have a decent amount of visitors you can apply to adsense. Even if you get rejected again, you can move on to other ads services

Her site was rejected, adsense saying they didn't think she could turn it into anything worthwhile and that they didn't think it would make money.
No one from adsense said that...

Lol, like anyone would say that, ha, ha.

OP, stop worrying about the money long enough to build a real site.

People don't come here for advice about building a real site that makes money and would make them proud as well as serving the internet...most come here to find out how to get an exact emd for a keyword that gets exactly 12 searches a month with a cpc of $4567.29...and then wonder why they have:

        A. no traffic
        B. no clicks
        C. why google hates them
        D. why adsense banned them, they only clicked their ads 34 times...by accident

Really? That is very strange. It is the first time I hear Google said that to affiliate.

Improve your website first and try again. As Google will find good amount of traffic from some good sources then, it will approve your adsence request. Make sure that your website should have good content as well
