Google Images, is it my imagination.....

Is it my imagination or does Google Images not return images very related to my search term? I have done a number of searches over the last few days for images for a blog, but few if any seem related to my search query.

I have used Google Images frequently over the last couple years and usually found plenty of images suitable for my needs. But recently the results shown are mostly useless for my search term.

Curious if this is just me or if others are showing similar results.

    It sometimes depends on your queries too... Sometimes, Google has very less results to show. So, it picks images from the pages which have your keywords.

    Anyways, Google image results are fine at my end.

    I find google images search to be pretty accurate. It maybe it depends on the images your searching for but I have definitely not been disapponited with my search results.

    The search term should be specific, then only you can get the images based on your choice.

    I have not noticed this

    just search for some celebrity
    you get 1000 pics of them

    search for a Xrated film star, you get 1000 racy pics of them

    I searched for old photos of david letterman
    wasnt having much luck (comparing his hair now to before)

    so then I entered "late show with David letterman) name of his show back in the 90s
    boom that did it all old pics with full head of hair

    it seems pretty accurate to me
