Domain types affecting PR

Hello warriors !

I'm planning to create a website and promote offers using article marketing but I'm worried about PR that my offers won't sell well due to low traffic and that low traffic is because of my domain types. So here's my doubt.

Will a .com website rank better than a .info website, etc? Assuming both of these sites use the same type and amount of keywords, quality and quantity of backlinks and are in the completely same niche. Is it possible for a free domain hosting like wordpress.com to get PR 1,2 or 3?

Another doubt I got. Will I be able to have a better PR in my local country?

    Hi,

A .info website will rank fine. Don't build your business on free domain hosting.

What's wrong with free domain hosting?

I'm just worried about .info sites because I have yet to find a .info having a pr 1,2 or 3 or maybe I haven't been looking hard enough?

.info sites rank fine and I did have a .info that was a PR2... not that the PR really matters much. I have sites that get tons more traffic than that PR2 site and make tons more money. But, basically .info is fine...

I know that any time I buy a domain through namecheap they throw in the .info for free. Just a thought... and yeah, I would invest the couple of bucks in paid hosting. It's less than $10 a month these days...

Look around, I have seen fatcow coupon discounts quite a few times

.ie if your target audience will be Ireland; .com or .info if you will target worldwide

PR will come later due to quality content, visitors and links

Typically, .com domains are harder to acquire and most of the good ones have been bought. So the "good" .com domains have more age to them, and all the hyphenated "keyword-keyword-keyword.com" domains are being taken up as well.

I've seen some .net and .info domains climb up on some competitive SERPs but the .infos usually don't last very long. I hope this helps! Good luck

I always use .com and .org. I will do my keyword research then once I find the exact keyword will try to get it. If I can not get the exact one I will add a number to the front or back, usually to the back, this does not seem to effect climbing the serps. I never use hyphens they just don't seem to do good for me.

so far I don't have experience that type of domains ext will affect the PR.. I have .info domains that have PR 1 (at least not 0 ),, and it means google only looks at the authority of your website, it means the content and user experience ...
