I received a $25 coupon for microsoft adcenter so I made myself an account. As I was setting up the account I saw nowhere that I could enter the code I was given. No that I have my account set up and have created an ad, it asks for my billing information and I still see nowhere to enter the code I was given.

In the email I was sent with the code, I followed the link to set up my account and when I got to a page I received a pop-up that said something like "Your coupon code has been activated" yet I see no credit to my account and have a notification saying "No payment method. Ads for this account will not be displayed".

Please let me know that I'm doing wrong here.

    I had trouble with that too, I had found thsi in their help section and they gave me it . 3 days later and they have not approved my new ads though .

    1. Click the Accounts & Billing tab.
    2. Under Account number, click the account to which you want to add a promotion code.
    3. On the Account details page, under Promotion code, type the code number.
      When you click Save, the promotion code will automatically be validated.

      Thanks for the information. I found the area for me to enter the promotion code. However, now that it has been entered, my account balance still reads 0.

    Hey there zmorris,

    Have you already entered your payment method into adCenter? If not, that might do the trick. If you have and it's still showing as zero, I'd be happy to look into this for you if you can supply me with your adCenter account number.

    To do that, either send me a private message here, send a direct message to @adCenter via Twitter (note that it's in reference to the warrior forum thread) or email me directly at tinakell at microsoft dot com.
