Is Google Shoving Google+ Up People's a***(you know where)

Google has rolled out its new social search and I am getting restless. Is the big G becoming desperate to outrank Facebook?

Do you think that by these changes, Google is shoving up Google+ people's a****?

Isn' google forcing marketers to take G+ more seriously than it deserves to be taken?

I am getting tired of Google overall now. Their search was always seen as ultimate and untainted, now its to centric to pushing their portfolio.

I personally getting behind blekko.com now.

Belkko is good, have tried it, but will it pay your bill if you are an online marketer?

Get used to it...until Google sees a drop in the overall search market share....that would be my guess.

To me it's like Google's push to G+ is pushing me to all the other websites on the internet!

Google is a search engine, NOT a social network, so yes I get annoyed with it.

Google has done so many times in the past, but still people were not interested (remember a thing called Buzz and some alien app Wave)...G+ will go that way only. It's insane to arm-twist users and marketers in using it...

Can some one teach big G the importance of being gentle

I think Google is doing whatever it can to make + successful. If that means favoring their network in the search results, then so be it. I think for the majority of users the changes are going unnoticed. Sure, Google+ has millions of registered accounts, but how many of those accounts are active? I don't think social search will be a huge deal for most until more people start actively using their accounts.

It's the last ditch attempt at getting Google+ to work. If this doesn't work I bet they'll end up in a partnership with Facebook (even if it's a bad one haha) to do what Bing did.

I don't understand why they even care?

Why can't they just be happy with dominating the search engine market? Why do they HAVE to try and dominate the social media market as well?

They won't be happy until every single thing people do online has Google's name attached to it.

    Recipe for disaster imo.

Hey, without Google +, we couldn't pay people on Fiverr to +1 all our content. It's been proven to help raise rankings in the SERPs. If you can't beat em, take advantage of em!

Nothing is further form the truth than that gem.

Let's see, google wants to promote their own product?
      What a concept!

You have a choice, use it or not. Simple.

      They don't run my life.

Pity the people who allow google to run theirs.

Google is filled with the brightest people around. They
      have record profits.

They know when to say when. Something does not work,
      they can it.

It's what makes google different than any other online
enterprise. Take yahoo/bing for example...complete tripe.

But where are the people talking about how friggin idiotic
yahoo/bing, MS, etc. are? Oh. They're trying to
      schmooze google!

I just wonder why nobody ever disses other social crapola
that has just became awful....like linkedin, delicious, digg,
      etc.

I know. Because people have taken google as a grandfather
with money, just waiting to dish it out to them. And when
Grandad does not do it, they get sour.
