Are MNS's On The Way Out?

Hey all
Started an MNS and I thought all was good until the original placing on page 30 totally disappeared after a got a SEO service from a Warrior. He thought it may be something to do with meta tag stuffing or no privacy policy, however when I went on to the Google help forum they were less than sympathetic to say the least.
Is it possible G has cottoned on to these kind of sites and starting to penalize them str8 away?
