Hi There,

I'm planning to start a local offline business, and all of the domain names with the top searched keywords are taken.

I'm using NicheFinder to locate long tail key words, My question is would I stand the chance to rank on the top 3 positions with an exact keywords domain name + e or Now or some other word?

example: money making online.com (e money making online.com)

My plan is to buy 10 domain names on the niche but have the "e" to all of the top keyword domain names.

Would I have a chance? The difficulty on most of these keywords is medium maximum 54 difficulty and the easiest is 42 difficulty.

Please help.

A

    Hi,

The best thing to do would be to find one domain to focus on, if you add a word to the exact match, it won't matter much as you could rank a totally unrelated domain name for your keywords by doing proper and consistent SEO.

      Thank you mgreener,

My plan was to buy as many keyword related domain names and rank each one of them for that specific keyword, and the reason why is because everybody say it is easier to rank a matching keyword domain name.

PS: the 10 domain names would be just support domain names sending traffic to my company's website.

I know the whole think sounds complicated when I try to explain it, But what would your strategy be if you want to start a Plumbing service, in let say Chicago, IL? what would be your strategy to dominate the search engine for as many keywords in your area as possible?

That is what I'm trying to figure out.

      Thank you in advance.

The people that say that only say it because they don't understand SEO. You can rank any page you want with the same amount of work regardless If you have an EMD or not.

It is fine to put a letter at the end of a keyword specific domain name. However, focus on building anchor text backlinks, as backlinks are more important domain name for SEO.
