AdSense - Got clicks but not getting paid

Hey guys,

There were several times when the AdSense report said I have clicks (usually 1 click, it's a new site) but I didn't get paid for them...

Sent a "Report Issue" to Google but if they don't get back to me since it said:

"We value every piece of feedback we receive. We cannot respond individually to every one, but we will use your comments as we strive to improve your Google experience."

Any idea where to know what the problem is?

Did anyone else here experienced it?

Thanks guys,

Nir,

You usually won't get paid if the click came from an IP that Google suspects to have any connection with you.

It might be an invalid or they are just adjusting the CPC value.

Where is that? In my AdSense account? I did get paid for other clicks, it's not like I haven't got paid for all clicks.

It's not coming from my IP, I had nothing to do with those clicks.

If it's invalid, who clicks on the ads? Google bot?

      Thank you all.

You cannot earn money from them if you only receive fraudulent clicks or sending them traffic that is not Google-friendly. I'm not so sure in your case, because Adsense is not that easy to make a living. You will be disabled anytime without warning or notice.

I'm not asking because I click myself or drive traffic....these are clicks from people who find my site on Google or other blogs and click, everything is legit but some clicks are not paid....that's my question.

      Thanks,

reason is simple, you got some invalid clicks.

OK, but what does that mean? What's the source? I'm not doing anything to drive these clicks...

If the click seems invalid because someone accidentally clicks an ad twice/clicks an ad and then hits "back" immediately/closes the window immediately after opening an ad, etc. then the click still shows up in AdSense but it also shows that you don't get paid anything for it. Happens to me occasionally.

Go to account settings and check whether the site listed in authorized list.Or allow any site to show ads.

And also Google won't pay in some cases such as if the click is invalid or coming from an proxy

Google might see a connection between you and the clicker, or it was a proxy surver who clicked.

Thank you very much guys for the answers, I think I got it and that it's all good...

Just to inform you, I had 2 clicks yesterday on the site and I got paid for them, so I guess it was what you said - Proxy or invalid clicks.

      Thank you all!
