What's the Best WP Plugin for internal link building? By that I mean links that Google likes. How important is this onsite SEO? Will the efforts here really have any sort of significant impact on SERP rankings. Thanks

I just make the internal links manually, contextual ones are the best somewhere in the body of your content.

I think its very important for onsite seo because you link pages on your site and when search engine bots crawl your site they will see that the other pages are linked making the whole site more relevant.

I agree that creating them manually is best, but for automated internal linking I like Auto Link Juicer.

I think of using automated linking stuff before. After reading this post, I am planning to use manual functions. Thanks buddies.

It's not only the internal links you build, it's also the links you don't build, like bloated headers, sidebars, & footers.

The average WP blog/site/theme is an on-page SEO disaster. Most themes are built by designers, their job is to make the theme look good, looking good doesn't get your pages ranked in the SERPs.

So you mean the best is to avoid automatic internal link building plugins because there may be hidden bloated links in them?
If not what is the reason to not use these tools`? I planning using a automatic tool but will stay put before I got an answere.

No, he didn't say that. He said, look at your footer, sidebar, and header, and find all the links that you don't need.

Remove unneeded sidebar links like the Archives, tag clouds, etc.

Remove unneeded footer links like the junk links the designer sold for the theme.

Internal links are great, necessary, beneficial. Manual is probably the best approach.

The automatic tool will repeat the anchor text over and over. You might be better off just creating manual backlinks so you don't have so much repetition.

So do you not use Wordpress? I know you are a fan of the silo architecture, and I have a couple Wordpress sites that I modified to be somewhat siloed. It is a lot of work ... wordpress has a lot of places where juice leaks.

I wrote a plugin for the categories in the sidebar, just need to polish it and sell for $1,000,000 a pop (I just need 1 person to buy it ). I have other ideas as well ... but WF is too time consuming.
