Try Traffic Travis, It's free to download, very reliable software to check competitors backlinks, best free tools out there.

Another is SEO Spyglass. It's limited to a certain number of backlinks, but it has some pretty in depth analysis. Good luck!

You could also try backlinkwatch.com to check their backlinks, which is also free to use.

I'm with SShip, backlinkwatch.com is pretty useful now that YSE is away.

No the problem with Backlinkwatch is that it show you only 999 links. and there is particular order defined in which they will show you the results. In my opinion the best one out there is Open Site Explorer. I have found its results even better than YSE

If you want to check out the backlinks from your competitor, I strongly suggest Majestic SEO. This is pretty useful since Yahoo Site Explorer is already gone.

You can also a "link" search in google i.e links:warriorforum.com
. This will normally show you less than the paid backlink tools but at least will show you the ones that google finds important.

    Thanks Peter

I use back-link watch for finding links of my competitors. Its a great tools for finding Back-links. Competitor back-links really helps a lot in ranking you well on SERP. You can find relevant and good PR back-links.

Just type in the Google query "site.com" and you will get some of the most reliable backlinks of your competitors. After Yahoo site explorer was shut down, I focused on working on this one rather than spend my time in looking for tools to be used.

I know you have some tools to determine few information about backlinks, you try it.
