Woah almost all my keywords are no where to be found?

So I've been getting a consistent 130-140 unique visitors every day. One keyword at ranked number 1, and four or five other keywords toggling through page 1-3 and 10 other keywords at page 5 and above. Just now I found out that ranked number 1 keyword dropped to rank 5, and all the other keywords are gone (from what I see)

Is this a Google Dance? Or Sandbox?

Is it because I'm creating new backlinks and what not? Cause I haven't been doing backlinks for months until two weeks ago.

Did this happen sometime on the 19th? It could be related to a new algorithm change (especially if you have a lot of ads above the fold):

I don't have any ads above the fold, unless "link ad units" are considered that. I'm also using CTR theme, and I'm starting to think that these themes are pointless especially with the new algorithims. And why is it pointless? Because Google is smart enough to know that we want to have a layout where it'll trick, or increase the CTR for people to click on these ads. These CTR themes to me are considered plain. I've always questioned these themes ever since I bought it. I just felt like something is missing when I look at my site even when there's enough content.

And who has taken your first places? Analyse sites of competitors. Make as well a bit better.

It's common to see some dancing after link building. Or you built the links too spammy. If you blasted links, it might very well be that you don't have enough anchor text variation.

What you're going to notice a lot more in 2012 is google not rewarding sites with link profiles filled with just a few anchors, if you want sustainable rankings for the long term, you're going to have to "de-optimize" your link profile, something I focus on in my service, we build about half of our links using LSI/generic anchor text and this results in a more natural looking link profile and thus stable rankings.
