I can't figure it out.. but I have a screen shot for everyone to see.

for some reason is says that I am getting a lot of direct / (none) traffic

My question is what is the "none" traffic. I am positive that it isn't direct traffic, so I am really trying to figure out what the none represents.

Thanks,

Sam

Sam, what you see here it's actually direct traffic. In this case "direct" represents the source and "none" the medium, which is actually no medium.

So, for the same Source / Medium you will see:

    google / organic
    newsletter / email
    t.co / referral
    feedburner / feed
    (direct) / (none)

On the left side you have the source of your traffic and on the right side, the medium.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hey Sam,

The source medium detail "none/direct" indicates those visits where visitors typed your site's address directly in the browser or revisited your site through a browser bookmark.
