How Youtube Helped Me Generate 1300 Backlinks

Hello Warriors,

just to let you know that I have used Youtube to successfully create 1300 backlinks to my blog www.webmarketinginfo.blogspot.com

This is something that anyone can do, so I thought I would like to share it with you.

Here is how I achieved this, I used Fiverr.com and paid someone to create a video for one of the pages on my site, then I paid someone else on Fiverr to promote the video to 100 other video sites.

The total cost to me was $10 and about 30 minutes.

The links came over a period of about a month and once my video appeared on one site other video sites shared it and it snowballed nicely so that the total links I now have is around 1300 - I know this as I only had about 300 before I started the promotion.

I have had quite a lot of regular traffic from youtube as well.

It proves that using Youtube does work well for link and traffic generation and to save time it is well worth paying someone to promote the video for you.

Hope this helps
Ged

If you can also share the list of 100+ video sites, that would be very helpful. Thanks for this tips.

Nice one, I saw this happen to a video of mine as well. I uploaded it to youtube and couple weeks later it was at multiple sites. Seemed there are more and more websites that scrape youtube.

That all sounds great, but the Youtube links are nofollow for Google. This means that you may get good traffic coming towards your site, but if you are after a higher search ranking position you will be disappointed. Some web pages say that Youtube is dofollow, but they are wrong

Youtube IS dofollow, under certain conditions.

You have to switch back to the old design and edit your profile details to put your website link. Then the link is dofollow.

If you stick to the new design and place your link with the add link function, yes then it is No-Follow.

    Thank your for your comments.

Unfortunately I did not receive a list of the sites.

But to be honest I think it is well worth paying someone $5
    to do this for you.

The reason is that I started posting my video
to some video sites, but it was taking me such a long time to sign up
and submit the video, that in the end I thought I would much rather pay
someone $5 to do this for me.

It turned out to be good value for money.

    Hope this helps.
