If I don't submit my articles to Ezine or Hubpages instead I choose relevant my PR2 site will it be a blunder?

Is wordpress sub domain enough for creating a pR2 site or do I need any custom domain?

What are the minimum requirements for a PR2 site like minimum posts, visitors, age of the site etc. ? Pease also include information if you know.

Thanks
Faisal

Google treats "sub-domains" like a completely separate domain. There is no difference in search engine authority between a sub domain and a regular domain. Take a look at about.com for example, which has TONNES of subdomains that rank fairly well.

Amount of posts or content has nothing to do with PR. This search engine metric is determined by the quantity and quality of incoming links.

Pagerank reflects "authority" and how often the page gets crawled from Google. I would add my article to eZine first, then spin and publish on the PR2. If your trying to build traffic to your blog eZine articles get indexed FAST (within a few hours) -- much faster than posting it on your PR2 will.

Why limit yourself to just one part of the story. Go for both PR2 sites and the Ezine like sites. The internet is about unlimited choices.

A PR2 site is valuable and good enough for you to place a link, as long it is relevant and friendly to us. But if the PR2 site is something suspicious, then it means that its not worth to build a link there.

pr of a webpage depends on its backlinks number and quality not on the age or visitors etc.
a webpage with 2PR3 and 2PR2 backlinks are enough for making its pr to 2.

a pr 2 link is very powerful if the back link is very relevant to your site

the more relevant the back link then the more weight the link carries

this is why guest posts are so powerful

Page rank is only one small factor involved in ranking a website.

You need to also look at things like topic relation, web pages authority and rank, age, number of outbound links, context of link, etc.

If these things mean giving up pr2 for a pr0 who cares, if you get all these right and still manage to have the link on a pr2 then that's just a bonus

I think it's good enough. Just be sure the link is always dofollow i think?

Any link on any page is valuable if google counts it.
That's the key. Will google count it. These threads
here have PR n/a, and yet, very valuable for sig
links. People toss in a bunch of stuff that just
      does not matter.

Old, old, old, thread. I have no idea why they
      get raised from the dead.

A backlink is a backlink is a backlink. The same people
here tossing in junk are the same people who
go around blog commenting, or forum profiling. All
of those are junk, yet they talk nonsense about
the value of a PR2 backlink. So much more goes
into it, no wonder there are so many failed threads
here. People keep looking under the same rocks.
They talk out of both sides of their mouths, depending
      on the thread.

Old, old, old, thread that should have been kept buried.
