Its driving me crazy because after I had changed it's theme it lost it's rankings but now it is getting the rankings back again however, Google is messing with me I think because its only ranking one post of my site. I have 4 posts.

each week or so google ranks a different post of mine but, never the whole blog where visitors can see my money post then the ones after and so on.

Its only showing one post on my Blog, Why is that?

Thanks a lot!

I am sorry, but you are mad because one post out of 4 posts is ranking?....
Instead of being mad over it, wouldn't it make sense to see what is wrong and perhaps try to build backlinks for those other 3 posts so you can rank for those as well.

Usually a whole blog doesn't rank for one keyword, its a page that ranks for a keyword. So, your point here doesn't even make sense, I am afraid.

I am afraid too your wrong. The whole blog usually ranks for one keyword when it is the ONLY keyword I am going after and the domain name is an exact match.

In a normal case you would type in a keyword and the whole blog would show up showing the first post following the 2nd 3rd etc etc etc...

The best I've ever seen was a triple SERP ranking for a single blog, with the 3rd ranked page including a + drop down link to additional pages on the same site. Still that's counted as 3 SERP positions which leaves another 7 positions on page #1 in the SERPs.

Maybe your talking about Google Sitelinks? Still that's only counted as a single SERP position.

Also, anytime you change a theme, you'll stand a very good chance at dropping in the SERPs. I always suggest get the theme site structure 100% correct first, then start creating new blog/site pages & internal/external links.

When you have a well ranked page for a competitive keyword, it's not safe to be messing with major site structure changes (changing themes).

Write content, a lot more content.

Make sure the content is compelling, interesting and relevant to your niche. Link to your content internally from other posts.

This helps get your other posts indexed as well.

So get to work on creating more content and watch your rankings get better over time.

    Cheers

I'd be interested to know what your site's structure is like. Linking pages properly can make a big difference. Perhaps Google is having a hard time getting to know your site. Have you uploaded a sitemap to Google's webmaster tools?

So a Google Dance would also include Google randomly picking certain posts on my blog and ranking them but not the whole blog with its posts in order?

      Hey there,

If you're the person I just wrote an article for about solar panels, I wanted to get a message through to you, but there is NO way to inbox anyone once a job has been sent through. Very annoying.

I took a chance at looking you up on this site and conveniently you're here. Is there somewhere I can email you? I'm not established enough here to be able to PM anyone, and I don't think you can, either, so it'll have to be offsite.

      Thanks!
