Hi, guys
I want to listen to your advice
Whether there is a difference between these two domains? One of the words in the main domain, and the other in the secondary domain name
Or they are the same?
thanks
#difference #keywordscom #xxxxxxcom or keywords

Are you asking if they're the same for SEO/ranking purposes?

They're not, at all (keywords.com is far better, if "keywords" is what you want to rank for), but if this is your question, you should really be asking it here: Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum

I guess from a logic point of view I can make some reasonable assumptions - not that any of us here can give anything other than anecdotal evidence about the mysteries of the Google page rank algorithm. However, if your search phrase was, "rubber ducks", would you rather end up on:

        rubberducks.com or rubber-things-i-find-sexy.com/rubber-ducks

I think most search engines would quite reasonably assume you're not into rubber, in that way. Not that I'm judging - whatever floats your boat, as it were.

I have a site with xxxxxx.com/keyword ranked higher in page 1 whilst my competitor with a keyword.com rank below me and 2 other sites.

Well it depends, the quality of articles, on-page and off page SEO matters.

Of course, there are many such instances. You've done better with your collective on-page and off-page SEO than your competitors, so you're ahead of them, overall.

But that doesn't change the fact that from the perspective of the url, keywords.com is far better for SEO/ranking purposes than xxxxxxxx.com/keywords.

According to my tests, keyword in the domain is treated differently by google, but most important factor is external links, my test shows even if a page and url doesn't have the keyword, you can still rank for it if you have strong links point to it with the keyword as anchor text.

I think it depends on the quality of articles, but its right that
    keywords.com is better than xxxxxx.com/keywords

Using keywords as domain name will get better traffic than using other names..But ranking depends upon the articles we shared..

Google does not give more preference to keywords in the domain name, it rather checks the authority of the site. In fact the title tags have higher significance.
