Hey guys, i was inspired by a guy in this forum "David Parnell" in this thread
http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...iverr-com.html

So i thought why not do the same for my new site

Though i don't have to make it public but it's still inspiring to know other people are keeping track of your success/failures and gets you more motivated

So here's the challenge i'm taking on , 1st page of google for the keyword " Famous Logos" ( Not going for 1st as i know that it is very very difficult for this 1 month challenge)

So i have a budget i have kept that is $ 75 for gigs on fiverr ( Will diversify the link building and not reorder the same gig.

So that will be 15 gigs in total

I definitely am already motivated by sharing it right now and i'm also going to give you guys updates on which gigs i bought, what's my keyword pos, etc

Btw my site is not ranked at all for that keyword atm so i have created a project on traffic travis to give me updates on whenever the site ranks for that keyword!

1 keyword 1 month and method is only fiverr gigs!

I've had mixed success with fiverr - about 50% have been worthwhile. Most seo or link building gifgs are just complete spamming.

    WOW!
Thank you so much GearMonkey and Kyle!

I previously bought fiverr gigs (many of them) for another domain of mine and fiverr gigs really helped.
But the unfortunate part is i could not figure out which gig was it that boosted my other site on the keyword i wanted it to rank for, thus trying it all over again with a new site and good searches for it!

Oh yeah totally forgot to mention the url (Dumb)

The site is Famous-Logos.net ( All the exact match domains were gone unfortunately)

(Any suggestions on gigs would be great as it could save me money and bring in more knowledge to people who are looking for quality fiverr gigs)

    Cheers,

No problem. Glad to help with your case study. I agree it's hard to find which gig actually did what, but if one can find a formula that works, that'll atleast help point Warriors in the right direction.

I just got a surge of orders on Fiverr. After I get them done (within the next couple hours), I am going to post your contextual link (with keyword) on my PR7 blog. Hopefully this gives you the boost you need to start seeing more results. You can post the link to my fiverr gig in the OP, but please don't share my PR7 link. I want to keep it private so Google can't track my website. I don't want to jeopardize losing rank for 'selling links'.

      Peace!

Wow, the people are amazing here, so now i have ordered 5 gigs, 1 is complete (1200 article submission one)

1 free gig was donated by gearmonkey and my link is on a pr7 site! i know it won't stay for long on the homepage but getting a link from an authority site is totally amazing!

Now i will have to wait and see how well it effects my serps and will post updates.

Again thank you very much Gearmonkey for offering this for free and will post an honest review as how it has effected my site.
(Though you all can see it but i'll still give the updates!)

4 fiverr gigs are in line to be delivered within the next few days lets see how they go.

Okay, here's my review of Mikes gig in which he offers to submit to 1.2k article directories and 150-300 auto approved..

When i went over the file he provided for proof, the ones deemed as approved were about 150 and about 70 were as "Submitted" .

I took about an hour or 2 to check the approved urls and out of 150, about 90 were "Page not found" and about 20 had the articles but the links were not pointing anywhere.

Overall summary, IMO it was a horrible experience and would not recommend it though we are still talking and he is trying to justify his case..

Will let you know for more updates,

    @OP

That thread you linked was a great thread until it was closed. I heard it was closed because WF doesn't allow "progress posts" such as this one. So if I were you, I would create a blogspot blog or something similar and track your progress that way.

It's a win/win because 1, you'll get to keep this thread open and 2, you'll have a blog with traffic that could potentially turn into a money site one day. I'd suggest editing your initial post to include the type of blog I mentioned. Best of luck to you man, I've always wanted to do something like this and I will be keeping tabs on your progress!

    Hey Dmin,
Thanks for making me aware of this,

Hopefully this thread doesn't get shut down but until it isn't i'll keep on posting the progress

And about blogging it, well don't so alot of blog posts and really i'm not doing this for money.

I just wanted to challenge myself that i could outrank a dear friend of mine in the same niche

He is alot more experienced in internet marketing than i am, he makes websites flips website and what not..
I'm the one who used to buy stup#d domains with pr and think i could point it to my main website and thinking i could increase my main sites pr..

Believe me, about a month ago i got to know what niche sites were and how to take advantage of exact match domains etc etc..

I had no clue what was all this niche sites and my first two sites i bought were both to make article directories and the names i chose were one on my 2 year old sons name and one with the word "Bananas" in it.

I always knew about how to build links and what "linkwheels" and "edu" backlinks were but i was getting these backlinks outsourced on totally useless domain names

I have many junk sites which i will be throwing away and now i just buy sites with keywords in it and have minimum 5k exact searches ( This was also suggested with my friend, who i'm trying to compete and challenge against )

Plus about a month ago i thought i got an exact match domain with 2 million searches and told my friend about that, he did not believe me and did a check on it and it turned out those were broad match domains lol, and the exact searches were less than 200

Anyways now i know everything about it and currently my friend is at number 2 (3 if google images count) and i am looking to get to the top 10 for a start and then try and beat him ( In a way he'll be happy to know that he was the one who taught me )

I know this post is very long but as i've stated in the op i love sharing stuff

On the plus side i also wanted other people to know which fiverr gigs to buy and which are a waste of 5 dollars..

I have 7 pages indexed now..

    1 fiverr gig delivered
1 free fiverr gig donated (Which i'm really thankful for)
And 4 more gigs yet to be delivered.

I'm just a bit worried because my keyword density is alot..

1 question is, do widget text count as keyword density on the home page?

Awesome to see some progress within your thread. I'd like to do something similar in the near future. For now, I'm running Exact Match Domain reports haha.

To answer your question, any text that's written within html text tags is crawled. Whether it's in a widget or not. So yes, it will factor into keyword density.

Let me know when you'd like to take me up on my gig, too

        Cheers mate,
I have a lot of domains that i haven't done anything with yet, but i will give your gig a go when i get done with sorting out my already bought domains!
        25 of them untouched!!

    Update:

I just checked my site an hour back and there were 7 indexed pages, now there are 25 !

I just got two gigs delivered within this time one was 1200 article directory submission (Which turned out a disaster)

And the other one was the FREE pr7 blogpost offered by gearmonkey!

Really happy to see the indexed pages soaring up now time for the keywords to rank

@Gearmonkey let me know any other good value gigs you offer will definitely buy them

I know this is just indexed pages but now no more article directory submissions for me, i'll either opt for high pr blog posts, edu links or linkwheels.

Those are the only things worth buying in the seo section of fiverr!

Anyone1 had any experience on social bookmarks or something like angela backlinks?

Quite interesting. I've been trying to figure out what exactly bing (and yahoo) want for SEO. I know Google's the big dog but Bing is getting more and more popular so I don't want to just ignore it.

Any thoughts on which gig might have pushed you up on Bing so quickly?

Google, Yahoo!, and Bing are VERY fickle. When using virtually the same backlinking method, I'll sometimes get ranked in Google but not in the other 2. So I'll have 1 site ranking around the top 10 in Google but not in the top 100 of Yahoo!/Bing and another site will be the complete opposite. I use the same backlinking methods for every site.

The only explanation is certain keywords affect rankings in certain SE's.

You are exactly saying what i'm experiencing, i never had luck with bing and yahoo with my other sites, but with this site i focused on on page seo and i'm seeing great results within day with my new site on yahoo and bing but i think google will take some time..

I have noticed that keyword density and exact match domain plays a huge role in yahoo and bing, it does in google too but not as much as the other two!

Btw just wanted to share another update,

From #4 on yahoo for my main keyword i jumped to #2!!! (Huraaayy)

          In Bing from #3 to #2 !!!

Any advice on how to optimize my site for adsense as i've seen 1 click from 100 visitors in 2 days, which is not bad (1%) but any help on where to place my ads would be highly appreciated.

For those of you who still don't know what's my site url.. it is Famous-logos.net and the keyword i'm trying to rank for is "Famous logos"

WIll be concentrating on inner posts as all of them give over 5k to 50k exact match searches for those keywords ( Which is more than "Famous logos" ) :p

    @SeatBelt,

As far as traffic goes google is far ahead and still no sign of position in keywords but what the heck it's just been 4 days and almost 24 hours since the gigs were delivered, today i checked i'm on number 4 of BING!! For my main keyword!!

I would say the only one that went a waste was the 1200 article directories one and the two that made a huge difference were gear monkeys gig and this one I will build a LINKWHEEL with 6 High pr Blog Manually And Then Create 3000 Backlinks On Them Dominate The First Page Of Any Search Engine for $5 on fiverr.com!

I'm still surprised within one day of gigs delivered all my pages are indexed.

#4 on bing for my main keyword

And looks to be getting positive results with every passing day.

Ironically i've always done good with google and never bing and yahoo, but this time it's the other way around :p

I've done a lot of onpage seo which is essential for bing and yahoo and will be ordering my next set of 3 gigs by tonight, but i'm confused whether i should repeat the succesful gigs or should i go on and try new ones as the previous gigs might get backlinks from the same pages (Which will be totally useless).

    Well good luck!
    I'm enjoying your thread.

If you're interested I will donate one of my fiverr gigs to you as well. I think the only one you might find useful is writing three posts for 'buildmyrank.com' (150 words each).
I will write 3 150 word articles for BuildMyRank with guaranteed acceptance for $5 on fiverr.com

I'll toss in the 'add on' of submitting them to my BMR account for free as well. That would get you three fairly high PR backlinks. If you're interested just PM me your domain and what keywords your targeting.

That's why all these gigs I've ordered are either tier links or good authority links, never go for 20k or 40k blasts (Total waste of time).

I can't wait before my rankings start showing up in google, bing and yahoo done, 1 biggie to go.

    @Seatbelt
Thankyou so much, everyone has been really grateful and really helpful and i really appreciate it!

    @JD Bradely,

Ok so in bit of a desperation i bought 227,000 blog comments

I will deliver over 23,000 blog comments with anchor text for Unlimited Keywords/Urls for $5 on fiverr.com

Gig: And two extras (All for my inner pages)

And bought another gig from the same seller for 190+ comments on actual pr2+ pages for my main site.

This is a HUGE gamble by me and lets see if its win all or lose all (Deindex)

Will post my results once the gig is delivered and let you know how it all goes.

I'm sleeping right now, hopefully by tomorrow he delivers the gig and i get good results if not, no worries there are always alternatives

And btw 60 dollars spent 3 more gigs to go,
4 more yet to be delivered,
    Just three days gone,
#4 in yahoo and bing for my main keyword,
    No sign of google yet,
    Lets see what tomorrow brings!

There is nothing "inspired" about Fiverr seo services. Maybe you get some ranking that will be zeroed (or even punished) after a while.

Don't cry when you will be banned from Adsense PERMANENTLY at some point.

I am absolutely no expert in anything related to this but I will say it seems highly unlikely that Google would punish someone in any significant way for using this type of SEO and especially not ban them from adsense. Sure, it's possible that they will not count any of the links as a positive at some point but that is not a punishment.

        Here's my thinking.
IF what you said were true than I'd make a page, on page SEO it, get some good quality back links to my page to establish it. Then spend about $100 buying fiverr gigs back to my competitors. They all lose their rank and get banned from adsense and POW, I dominate page one of google.

Clearly this is not how it works. Do you have any evidence that it is?

Also, congrats to OP for getting into google rankings and the #2 spots on Y and B!

Also, congrats to OP for getting into google rankings and the #2 spots on Y and B!
          Hahaha well said buddy!

          And thank you so much!

Well as i said yes the 150 links is a risk but seatbelt is absolutely on the point and that's what i've been telling everyone that if you could ban yourself by this, any competitor could use that trick to bash their competitors!

Now my time has started to update on Google rankings ; )

I haven't used any such yet because i'm just targeting one keyword, but i'm pretty sure all that i have ordered would give you an option of five anchor texts..

Can you also list the actual donated gigs you used too? I'm keeping a list of all you use. Will definitely use in future if they help your project. Thanks for honest review of the 1200 gig.

    Sure Duke

Till now i have used 10 paid gigs (which i guess i've listed almost all above)

1 donated gig was by gear monkey, don't remember the url as he donated it right from WF, it was something like he posted a spinner article of mine related to my keyword and posted it on his pr7 blog (Which to be fair did help me and was the first indication of all these yahoo and bing success)

But i guess that seller got banned from fiverr as i saw he posted it in this forum somewhere..

Anyways, will be buying a few more gigs today and will keep you guys updated!

Now i'm specifically looking for linkwheels or link pyramids as i am 98.9 % sure they work much more than the other gigs and imo big backlinks blasts are the most useless of all!

Ouch, my site has disappeared from yahoo and bing, would NOT recommend Thomtyro's Gigs at all!
Spent 25 dollars on that gig but well a lesson learned for all..

To be fair, google dance will happen when you build so many backlinks so fast. also, not diversifying your keyword is also a big no-no.

Not saying these are the issue with the specific gig you are talking about, but you will notice things dancing around. It's going to take months, if not a full year, to see the real results. This stuff takes time.

Can someone explain this "not diversifying your keyword" i'm seeing a lot?
I'm going to be doing a similar project to this one using mainly fiverr. I have a ticket seller site concert tickets and I am unable to SEO it too much because I don't host it. My keywords are concert venues. Example: hollywood bowl, hp pavillion etc. Should I only buy gigs that will allow me to put three unique keywords in my anchor text, rather than just one?:confused:

I'm sure everybody has a different technique. But what I do is start with the main keyword, then start using LSI keywords.

As an example, if your main keyword is concert tickets. Possible LSI would be:
          discount concert tickets
          rock concert tickets
          coldplay concert tickets
          cheap concert tickets
          concert tickets for sale

          You get the idea?

Serious flaw in your study. It could be anyone of the gigs you have used that cause either increases or drops. SEO changes do not happen overnight. a gig you used a week or two ago could just as easily be the culprit.

It's only been a few weeks, I'm sure there is no "culprit". Way too soon to declare results as if something is chiseled in stone.

He'll see lots of changes over the next 3-6 months, if not longer.
