Quality Backlinks?

Hi,

The first way you can tell if they are quality is by simply visiting the sites. Use your judgement as to if the site is quality or not, and also, find the link on the page (if it's in the sidebar with 1000000 other links or footer, then it's probably not very high quality). If it's a forum profile page with nothing but a link back to your site, it's not high quality.

You can check the pagerank of the sites linking back to you and particularly, the pages where your link appears.

But even easier, does the site rank well for the target keyword? If not, then you'll need more quality backlinks...

Thanks for the help. 3000 backlinks is a lot of research though. If they are not quality it won't hurt my site in any way will it?

Check the PageRank of the web page.

Google recognizes that a webmaster has no control over other sites linking into a site, so sites aren't penalized because of where there backlinks links come from. Once a backlink is created to your web page, that page's PageRank will increase. It can NEVER decrease from receiving a backlink.

yes, most of the backlinks will analysed to our related to our website, if the alexa rank will be positive at regular intervals on that occasion our website gets quality backlinks, or else the alexa rank will be negative <10000k, on that occasion you get bogus backlinks, make sure that while you get a backlink should be related to your website

Check the page rank of the site from where the link is placed and its more important to look on the authority of the website where it is linking from.

If you're gaining search engine advantage from these links, for example :
Increase in SERP ranking
Increase in Pagerank
Traffic improvement , etc
,then they're of good quality

As a first pass, I would collect the URLs and check their PR, anchor text, and determine what type of backlink they are (forum profile, blog comment, Web 2.0, article, blog post, etc) and if they are dofollow or nofollow. Higher quality backlinks have PR and are surrounded by relevant text.

Quality Back Links are Those Back links which is relevant to your Niche; These back links will provides you Link Juice, which is definitely beneficial for your site! For Instance if your sites Niche is car rental and you acquired the links from car rental sites, These links called quality back links!

Quality backlink means backlink should be relevant and also from high pr. you can only get good and quick result from quality backlink.

If all backlinks from do follow,high PR, relevant websites and having unique IPs then all backlinks are quality backlinks.

Hi AC21DJ,

I will just summarise the following characteristics of a quality backlink:-

1. Good and and closely related link text.
2. The relevancy of the page where the link would be placed.
3. PR of the page where your link is placed.
4. The number of Authority sites linking to your site.

You would require tool to assist you to let you know if these 3000 backlinks are worth anything.

According to me if you judge if your backlinks are quality or not. When you are checking backlinks and those backlinks are coming from high PR and also they have do follow links means you get quality backlinks.

IMHO, quality backlinks are links that coming from authority sites with high PR. Whether a high PR domain or a high PR page. Related to your niche is good, but don't get caught up only placing links on related sites. Mix it up. You know what they say, a links is a links is a links.

And if i might add, after Panda, contextual links have more value then links placed at the bottom page.

use the ahrefs.com, majesticseo.com , these are the website which is used to find the quality backlinks, these tools are very useful to judge the quality backlinks, baklinks is the king for search engine ranking, quality backlinks gets good ranking and exposure, makes aware of!

Really quality is most important than quantity. Quantity include lots of thing like:
Dofollow bookmarking sites, directory sites with high PR.

Avoid submitting your website to mass backlink creators which claim they increase your ranking. Usually too much of that and Google may find something fishy.

Submit your websites to such stats and ranking type websites like Alexa to get some quick backlinks. It is helpful if you want to get your website indexed. You can make Forum signatures on Forums and post in relevant threads to get a lot of backlinks to be frank. Try to find DoFollow Forums in particular
