Ok so I created a blog and I'm using a plugin called adsense extreme; question is that in the settings of this script it asks for my adsense ID # and I have entered it however do I have to log into my google adsense account and create an ad unit? I'm new to adsense and I havn't created anything in there yet I'm getting ads on the articles that are completly off topic and my articles are over 6.6% density on certain KW so I have a hard time believing this is setup right

any help would be helpful

You have to wait a little bit until the ads become targeted. A few hours up to one or two days is the time it usually takes.

Well I just noticed something while looking at the ad's it's displaying again and it seems to be targeting things I have visted and reading something on google says it tends to do that... is there a way to prevent that.. to target what I'm Keywording for only?

Keep in mind that Google tends to pop ads via cookies. You also don't want your content to be to keyword rich. I use about 5% keyword to content ratio.

I think someone explained here how this can be disabled but I can't find it again :-/ I wouldn't worry too much about it though, after all Google displays these because they think the user is interested in the ad, so it might help your CTR a little bit.

Yes, it will tune up after a while. I run some pages about a celebrity names "Atlas" and I always get maps and stuff on my Adsense pages.

Google could care less about keyword density....forget about that.
What about the other words you used more?

Pay attention to your page title, the words you bold, and
    your h1 tag.

My trick is to put a one paragraph explanation as to what the site
is about, top center, on every page. I sometimes bold the whole
    thing.

The adsense bot is not fool-proof, but you can tweak your content
to give it a little help. You have to watch for some negative keywords,
    and eliminate or de-emphasize them.

Ha, good one! Especially if you have some supplemental articles on the site that are not targeted very good.
