Currently using these the most: AMR, ScrapeBox, Spinner Chief, IM Automator, Niche Finder

I have used Pad Submit Worker, Magic Submitter, OnlyWire, Tweet Attacks, Sick Submitter, and a few others in the past. I'm itching to either go back to Magic Submitter or try out SEO Link Robot.

Don't use software to get backlinks, because any links you get from that software are going to be very low quality.

You can use software to find niches, evaluate competition, find places for links, but anything that automates backlinks is a waste.

Using these tools to automate this process is a huge time saver. Plus, you can go out and focus on new markets, ideas and businesses.

I use lots of tools and the key is to use them well. Try to master a tool before you move on to learn the next. So a few of what I use are scrapebox, senukex, seo spyglass (free version), traffic travis and some others of my own.

I prefer SEO software that's not 100% "automated", but lets me have the last word, so to speak, simultaneously saving me time and sweats.

    One such software piece is

SEO SpyGlass Backlink Checker Software: X-Ray Your Competition

There are different ways to build links. You can do it by hand, you can do it using SENuke or a tool like SEO Spyglass. The difference is the quality/quantity ratio that they offer.

For me the best option is to be able to build a decent number of links FAST, but having full control over what I'm doing.

In other worlds, I wouldn't use the SEO software that would just spam my site with links without me being aware of where exactly they come from, how many links I'm getting, all that. But I wouldn't like to go all manual abt it either.

Mine would be the middle way.

Spyglass just lets you get a pretty darn good idea why your competitors are ranking where they're ranking. It shows you

    - all their backlinks
    - all their anchor texts
    - all the websites that are linking to your competitors
    - all linking site's PR, IP, domain age, outgoing links, SM bookmarks, etc.
    - all the blogs, forums, news sites linking to your competitors

Also, potentially profitable links get marked for you (sometimes I look at those recommendations, sometimes I don't, it depends, but still is a huge time-saver).

SEO spyglass or any number of other backlink checking tools/services should work fine for that, too.

But I do agree, even using automation (or maybe especially using automation), it is pivotal for your campaign's effectiveness that you actually measure your results and accurately measure the strength of your competition.

You can't use a spray and pray approach to building back links...It's a bigger waste of time than NOT using automation!

As for tools/services that I've used:
    1. SENuke X (eh, didn't like it, probably just me though)
    2. AMR (don't use it much anymore)
    3. BMR (still solid)
    4. Auto-Pingers (for backlink indexing)
    5. WPSyndicator, Onlywire or LinksAlpha (for automatic back links to everything I publish)
    6. UAW (don't use it anymore because it's so labor intensive)
    7. TheBestSpinner (needs no explanation)
    8. ArticleRanks (no complaints...Hey! That rhymed!)
    9. Sick Submitter (could never quite get it to work right, but very versatile)
    10. MajesticSEO (for checking backlinks and competition)
Honestly, my MVP from that list is going to be either #5 or #10, or maybe #3.

    Hope that helps!

At this point in time I personally do not use any type of third-party back linking automation software except for the ones which we develop in-house not that I'm necessarily against other tools is just where my focus is.

As for is tracking goes we tend to use a combination of rank tracker and traffic Travis depending on which one is pulling the most relevant results at that time.

I use traffic travis and seo spyglass. Both free, both work fine for where I am right now.

I just got magic submitter and I'm not so sure about it yet. It seems to take forever to set up a campaign, and then you've got to sit there and babysit it to put in captchas (unless you want to pay for a captcha-solving service.) The promo materials made it sound like that was a built-in feature.

I'll give it a run through over the course of the next month, but if I don't get significantly faster with it I don't think it's going to be worth my time. (the whole time I was using it tonight, I just kept saying "man I'd rather pay someone five dollars to do this.)

I used to use these tools as my main SEO process:

    xrumer
    senuke
    scrapebox
    bookmarkwiz
    link farm evolution
    and many more

Nowadays after the panda updates, everything changed, my source of automation is from my Filipino VA.
