Which Blog Platform?

When commenting on blogs for SEO purposes some blog platforms will give you more quality and quantity of backlinks.

Some criteria that I would be looking for when I search for blogs to comment on are:
  • Comment links that are not no-follow
  • Auto approve comments
  • High PR pages
  • Low OBLs
Obviously there is going to be a lot of variation between sites on the same blog platforms, but I'm guessing that some blog platforms will have fewer blogs that have no-follow links and more blogs with auto approve comments.

Therefore, which blog platforms do you have most success with in these areas when blog commenting on them for SEO?

    Aren't we all!

    You just outlined the most difficult type of blog commenting backlink to obtain. Most auto approve blogs are going to have a higher number of outbound links compared to moderated blogs, obviously. Especially when you're going for pages with PR.

    Your best bet is to try and find blogs that require a login or have a captcha. These will have fewer outbound links. Drupal blogs would be a good place to start.
