They are not allowing new members to join at the moment. I'm on the mailing list to get notified when they reopen and in the past they have done this for 2 month stretches at a time...so I'm looking for a substitute to hold me over.

Darn! I was just about to start a Warrior For Hire Thread to write bulk BMR posts. If they're not taking any new members, I wonder if this will still be good idea. I'm sure already established BMR members probably already have their own writers.

I want to. Since I've been writing my own BMR posts, I've gotten pretty good at writing them fast. I can do about 10 an hour now. And I'm usually a very slow writer (because I'm a perfectionist). Sometimes it takes me all day to research and write a few 500 word articles.

people want to pay but they only want to pay for accepted posts
or else what good is it?
They pay me for 20 posts, even 1 dollar each, ok sure

then only 6 get accepted, then they scream and whine and want their money back

i doubt writing 10/hour you can get a high acceptance percentage

That's a good point. If BMR rejects the posts, you don't get paid.

I'm pretty good with grammar and spelling. I've been ordering some BMR posts from various vendors on Fiverr and other websites to see the quality of the posts that these writers produce. The results have been pretty horrifying. I can't imagine that BMR would accept some of these posts without major editing. Here is a sample of a BMR post that I received today from someone on Fiverr (a UK writer who had all perfect feedback, except for a few thumbs down for not completing her orders on the time):

"Dysthymia is a major deppression where a person suffering from this goes into shell.His mood and behaviour generally stay's low.He fells alone.It is not as dangerous as some of other types of depressison.They symptoms of this type of depression are also not as common and clear as in case of other types of depression.The exact causes of dysthymia are unknown.They are more common in women's and in families.Almost 5% of poppulation suffers from this.The reason is of this type of depression is generally linked with some other type of disorder this may include excess use of alcohol,anxiety.Dysthymia may also result in some other bigger form of depression late in the life of sufferer.Dysthymia in older people are caused by some medical disorder such as mental illness,blood pressure problem etc.This form of depression is not as dangerous as some of others and it can be avoided with little care and healthy activities."

I would never submit that post to my BMR account without completely rewriting it. Out of the 30 writers that I've tried so far, only 2 of them sent posts that I could submit with no editing. I'm supposed to have two more orders delivered today from new Fiverr writers. I'm really excited.

Is it just me or is this BMR post utterly horrendous? Other buyers have highly praised this writer's work. Maybe I'm just too fussy? This post does not seem like it was written by someone who speaks native English.

After getting a bunch of posts like this from almost every writer I hired, I started to think that I should offer my own BMR services.

I think I'll go ahead and get a Warrior for Hire thread ready to post later in the week. I have three children in college, all great writers, that can help me out if I get too overwhelmed.

You should sell your services on this forum or your own website, you deserve to be paid more than you get on Fiverr. And you also deliver on time.

Your writing skills are excellent.

You should do a WSO about how to write 10 posts per hour. I can't even read 10 posts without being bored out of my mind.

I was thinking of offering my services. I could make a killing. But I really just want to work on my niche sites =). I need to take care of my hands. I don't want to get carpal tunnel.

I'm going to take screenshots soon. I've had BMR for 2 and a half weeks now (I'm sure you remember Jeanne with my "first time BMR posts").

A lot of my sites went from page 5 to page 2. A keyword that was ranked 4 went to rank 2 first page. Another keyword (the main keyword) was flagged all the way past 100+ rankings. Now it's on the 3rd page. All I did was BMR. Nothing else!

You might want to check BMR's TOS before sharing an account with anyone except a designated writers account to upload posts for your URL's.

  I believe it is against BMR TOS to share accounts. I know that the owner of BMR is a member of this forum and I'd hate to see anyone lose their account, especially with registrations currently closed.

Linkauthority.com is a hybrid network we currently still own around 70% of the network

We will always own around 50% of the network with the rest being user contributions - plus we have serious moderation in place

And you do not need to add a pr2 to use the site you can also pay for quota

UAW works quite well yes. Sometimes you just need to give it a little nudge here and there. Create a mash up of feeds for all the articles that get posted, pinging, etc etc. Just to make sure they get an extra boost and are indexed.

I just think that they don't have enough moderators to check everyone's posts. I rememebr back in the day posts would get approved within hours. Now sometimes posts are left in pending for more than 24 hours.

I have never found that. My posts get approved almost instantly - let's say, less than 15 minutes.

However, I am 99% sure that new members get a very harsh moderator, and your account gets set to a more relaxed moderator after a certain number/percentage of approved posts. I don't know what number/percentage that is, but it took a while from what I remember.

I am personally glad that they have temporarily closed the doors to new members. It's much better that some people have to wait a month or two than have it grow to fast and not be as effective. As for "replacements" until it reopens I would recommend My Article Network. Unique Article Wizard is also a good blog network, but I wouldn't consider it to be a direct "replacement" for BMR. Hope this helps!

Why would you do that? In the email they sent out to affiliates, they said that you will still get affiliate credit for people who go through your link and sign up to be notified when BMR reopens. If they sign up when they reopen you a commission.

I dont understand how these guys do BMR posts for .60 or .50 each
I mean they would have to be accepted, or the guy would complain. So thats basically 1c per 3 words. Seems like slave wages to me

i would do articles for 1c per word that would be my minimum, thats good writing, but .33 per word seems like wow, dont know how these guys do it. Guess they dont value their time

outsourcing it? I doubt you could find a GOOD writer to outsource even at 1c, they all know about odesk now and fiverr. i was trying to find a writer in manila Craigslist, few years ago would get 30 apps, this time? zero

Your best bet is to get in on the ground with a new blog network. Many networks, not just BMR are closing membership.

And lots of other networks are getting deindexed hard.
