Loan and insurance niches are the best. CPC is very high-more than $2 per click. Great earnings if you are in TOP 10.

The travel niche is also pretty good. A lot of medical problem type niches are pretty good.

Most of my sites that are bringing in most of the clicks are on medical conditions.

Forget targeting niches purely on the basis of which ones make the most.. my top earning sites every day are the ones with the least amount of competition.

it all depends...adsense is a numbers game I have sites that only get .50 a click and lower competition but high search volume, while sites with high CPC like $10 worth have crazy high competition and low search volume. dont even bother with high CPC and High Search volume if you are asking questions like this

3k visitors a day and 300 clicks at .50 pays more than
    100 visitors a day and 10 clicks at $10

    just a thought

Be careful not to only consider niches with keywords that pay big CPC. Often the amount of money you make will depend on how "click happy" your visitors' are.

I have site with fairly low CPC of $.30, but CTR is close to 15%.

Conversely targeting a niche with a CPC of $5 may only produce a .05% CTR.

I think you get the picture.....it's not as simple as high CPC.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers

    Phil

People jump on to make AdSense sites on insurance, weight loss, mortgage, etc but don't realize the competition. They just look at the high CPC and assume that they would make tons of money but in reality it's very difficult to rank those keywords on Google.

I have been using Adsense with the higher education niche. The CPC's are over $2 and there a ton of micro niches to target in that sector. Finding the right keywords to rank for will be key like many people here already mentioned.

Whatever niche you choose to go after just keep in mind that the higher the cpc the harder it will be to get on Google's first page. Better start with a less competition niche and build from there.

Any niche in which people are primarily looking for information is a good Adsense niche. Obviously, high CPCs are good, but you don't have to have a super high CPC if you're getting a lot of clicks each day on your site. But I've found that purely informational niches work best with Adsense, even really obscure ones. In fact, the lesser known ones are often best because there is the least amount of competition there, and often the daily searches for the keywords in those niches are still pretty high.
