So one of my teammates recommended SYNND.

Any thoughts of it so far? Pretty pricey, but does it get the job done?

I'm trialing it at the moment. The thing that distinguishes it for me is that it's the first I've seen that incorporates social signals (G+, FaceBook, Twitter etc) which seem to becoming more important.

Yes, I have both heard of it and used it… I just posted this in a similar thread the other day:

    Any Recent Synnd Users?

I recommend you read this post from that thread, too, as it more clearly outlines the benefits of Synnd than I do in my post.

Short summary: It's a good service and it certainly yields results, however, it's labor intensive and you have to be careful not to leave a footprint. At least in my experience, it's not quite the "magical rankings/user interaction potion" that it outlines on the sales page. But again, it still works, it just depends on what your expectations are.

I'd be very interested to hear your results with Synnd, so if you do end up trying it out be sure to post what you've done in the forum sometime!

I have been testing Synnd for more than 3 months now - and from my experience I can say it's worth it if you know where and how to use it. You can't expect it to do a magic trick for you and help you rank instantly - but it works for sure. 1 month back I had tested it to promote one of the biggest product launches - with product price in range of $3000 - and it worked like a charm. So if you want to use it to get your pages indexed really super fast, push your rankings up in short period of time without getting G penalty - adding social signal to your strategy definitely helps a lot. And if you mix it properly with some other link building, you can see a huge return.

Regarding being labor intensive - I really do not have much of experience as I used Enterprise Level account in which their team takes care of setting up and running campaign. And for me, freedom of my time and ability to run campaigns hands-free is one of the biggest asset. So you can take a call - if you want to do it on your own, it will be very cheap but you can let them run it for you as well.

Read reviews that the Enterprise Level is great.
Read reviews that the Pro level is poor because -- even if you've earned credits, you may not have the opportunity to spend them. And basically, your computer is a "slave" to the system - I think you're required to keep it on for more than 12 hours a day.

    STAY AWAY from Synnd!!!

I can't be any more blunt about this. I have been using Synnd for a while for myself and some clients. All was good for many months, I use the tool exclusively (meaning I used nothing else).

Google recently filed some new patent applications where they are able to recognize artificial shifts or patterns in social signals as a way to gain favor or better search engine rankings.

Long story short... All of the sites which used Synnd are now doing very badly. I went from page 1 rankings to NOWHERE in just a few weeks.

Keep away from this tool at all costs!

How that saying go, you know the one about the workman blaming the tools?

I've been using Synnd Pro for a while and I haven't found another service that can compare to it.

Unfortunately they have had issues with the Twitter and Facebook modules the 6 weeks or but they have all been resolved now.

It is a great way for you to control the velocity and natural growth of your sites social signals with little risk. I doubt Facebook/Twitter share that much data with Google anyway in terms of spammy accounts but if your paranoid about that kind of thing Synnd is great and I use it as part of every project.

They have similar patents around link analysis. Guess we should all stop building links as well.

    Hi Marbles 12,

Yesterday, after you posted your critical response about SYNND, I asked you to please contact me through our support department so we could help you resolve your issues. We never heard from you. Because your criticism was so severe and the negative results you claimed so dramatic we searched support to see if we could find any such cases. We could not find any on record.

Then one of our staff reminded me that we have had a couple renegade competitors who have slammed SYNND in recent months, while all the time pretending to be members complaining about “SYNND’s disastrous results,” but who were not members at all. We uncovered the trail they thought they had disguised and asked them to stop. None of them were as severe as Marbles12, but their tactics were very similar. I hate to imply you are one of these but when I see that you joined the Warrior Forum yesterday and that the only two posts you wrote were the EXACT same complaints about SYNND in two different locations it’s hard not to see you as someone who is slamming SYNND just to damage our reputation. You could solve this by giving me your member ID, and if you have encountered a genuine problem we’d be happy to help you. We have never encountered a situation where it was verified that SYNND was the cause for ranking problem. In fact, in this section above you see that several responded with positive comments. That last post that responded to you in this section is priceless.

If you are not a devious competitor or a disgruntled former employee then prove it to us and come forth and shared your User ID and let us help you. Unfortunately, you probably cannot do that, less you reveal your true identity. I hope that’s not true, but all the evidence points to this.

PS: You Warrior experts out there, aren’t there rules that apply to members who do things like this? I truly enjoy helping people who encounter genuine problems…and I’d be the first to say that we at SYNND have genuine issues from time to time…and I know this is frustrating for our members. But we work hard to fix these whenever we encounter them, and we try to treat people the way we’d like to be treated under similar circumstances. Unless I hear from this guy I’m afraid it's obvious what his two posts from yesterday and his followups from today are all about.

    Tom

    Update on "Marbles12" post:

This person is a former employee of ours at SYNND who disguised himself as a SYNND user and posted a false report in the Warrior forum. Not only that but he managed to hack my Warrior account and used it this morning to post a message saying that SYNND was now out of business!! We are working with Warrior support and I now have my account back and the false post has been deleted, along with the entire thread.

This person has engaged in other conduct much more serious and I'm working with an FBI agent here in our state to catalog several months of illegal interstate wire and online activity.

Thanks to the many who came to our support over the last couple days.

I did state it was odd how only one person was making this claim.. when past incidents of massive break downs like BMR where far more widely discussed with multiple sources. You can always spot the idiots, they are the ones dressed up as clowns

Tom, you mentioned in another thread that it was an ex owner. Anyway, whoever the person is (especially if he was in a high position), and knowing he's disgruntled, would he leak information to Google on how Synnd runs?

I've used it exclusively for a few sites and the results were VERY POOR.

The site takes forever to run the campaigns. 1 has been running for 4 months and it still isn't done.

Dan their owner and chief support is a very nice person but unfortunately this tool in no where near what it states and I;m actually thinking it may do more harm then good.

I have 165K points and I'm looking to sell them to the highest bidder or at worse case just cancel the account and write it all off.

Sad but no results, over hyped, stay away.
