Hey guys,
Im experiencing some difficulty when trying to submit my feedburner feed to Ping.fm.

Im not sure If Im doing anything wrong, but it seems the page simply times out and throws the following error?

Error: http://us-lb.zeesmic.com/api/users/ping_feeds/feeds

As Ive never been through this process before, Im trying to figure out where Im going wrong?

Any suggestions?

PS. Ive tried both XML feeds and my feedburner feed with the same results.

    Having same problems!

Wouldn't be anything down to trying to promote the new (paid) seesmic ping service?

The feed feature on our ping.fm account has been very erratic for the past few months - working sometimes, then not. In checking it and reentering the feed URL, we were getting the same error message.

We contacted support, but never received a reply. And of course, now in retrospect, it seems the new owners of ping.fm must have been preoccupied with plans for closing it down (now set for next month).

What will replace Ping.fm (Seesmic Ping) looks to be far inferior and less robust - and will be fee based. I, along with many others responding to the blog post from Ping.fm about its closing, would have gladly paid to keep the service Ping.fm offered when functioning at its peak.

    Regards,
