  • Don't buy links and also it is very difficult to get edu backlinks and instead of concentrating on edu backlinks build the links from other sites also which are very valuable for SEO like .org and .gov sites.

I believe bookmarking and social networks are a big help in getting backlinks. Article directories as well can help boost it up.

Contact School people and let them know about the new business you entered in (i.e. if you did and are not trying to get link for someone else). That helps. Everyone wants to show how great their alumni are

Go to Smuggecko. The site owner has it's own Blog Search Engine. It's quite helpful.

Finding .edu backlinks is, indeed, a tedious task. I have been using ‘Keyword Country’ for finding dofollow .edu websites to get links from.

Edu Backlinks are the rarest links on the internet which can be costly if done correctly. Also, make sure you get some High Page rank relevant links.

What if you join some university and get a free blog as a student I will not suggest you to buy .edu backlinks because these links get spammy very quickly and you will notice 1000 of outboundlinks on those pages, and thus page authority will be divided among all outbound links.

    Thanks

blog comments are the easiest. Buying links is always a bit scary since you never know how spammy their tactics are.

    Do a google search for

site:.edu inurl:blog "post a comment" -"you must be logged in" -"comments closed"

to find edu blogs then check to see if there are any other dofollow comments there.

Scrapebox + a LOT of keywords + patience.

I'm talking 10,000+ keywords. It's all about volume when you're looking for dofollow blogs. And once you've found some, make note of the anchor text / names / etc of other commenters. Chances are they've commented on other blogs that meet your requirements.

JSProjects gave you the best strategy you can follow in order to get do-follow edu backlinks. These blogs are really hard to find, but just make sure you are ready to spend hours in order to make a good list of .edu blogs and you can use it for other websites later

Yeah. It's really just about volume. The amount of dofollow blogs is so low that it generally takes a pretty long time to find them manually. Scrapebox + thousands of keywords really helps.

That, and "following" other commenters. Again, if they've commented on one DoFollow blog chances are they've commented on others.

I think getting the edu dofollow links is very difficult. But I think there are many software tools available for getting Edu dofollow links. Try to find out in the different search engines for that.

It's really not too hard, especially with Scrapebox. That being said, I don't believe in the .edu hype. Does it have a small benefit? Maybe. But a lot of people treat .edu backlinks as the Holy Grail of backlinks.
