Hi guys.

Today i had almost zero traffic to one of my websites and it seems that it is gone from google as WWW.something

BUT the website exist in Google without the "www". The website is 2 years old and still displays adsense ads (so it is not an adsense thing).

Not sure what the above means. In Webmaster tools i have no errors or warnings or anything.

Any ideas ?

edit: i see in WebMaster google tools that NO backlinks are reported. Strange since i had around 200.

Very strange. Google is still sending me traffic to the raw domain.name website (no www prefix).

    I don't get it, is that a penalty, a ban, sandbox ??

First time i heard that thing..First thing in my mind come is In your website their is duplicate content or low link building. If yes, occurs due to Google Panda

It seems that your www version of the website got deindexed...
Actually, a website has two versions; 1. www version, 2. non-www version.

The other website is no random website... By far you were running both the version, which definitely has had some SEO effect on your website.

You might be victim of canonicalization.

Merge your two versions into one by redirecting one version to the other.

Thanks for the reply. I will try to do that and see how it goes.

It doesn't look like a penalty from Google, since Google is still sending me traffic at the non-www domain and i still get clicks from Adsense. Looks more like a technical matter.

I have found this article and i will do the change (For Microsoft IIS):

      Redirect non-www to www - IIS7 - Knowledge Base - StudioCoast

      Thank you !

    Found my problem.

One of the Article directories i have posted an article about one of my websites is reported as BAD from Google and also my Antivirus. 74 trojans the last 90 days they say.

So apparently this is (99%) the reason my website is blocked.

    Or am i wrong ?

(if that is true, i guess incoming (that you may or may not have control) links CAN hurt you)

    Update:

After 2 weeks i finally got indexed again as i was before. My keywords rank less than before but it seems i'm catching up.

What i did was just wait. Changed nothing on my website.
