Hi,

Every experienced SEO marketer saw this - you find good keywords with relevantly low competition, buy 2 good domains of your new sites, create the content and start to build links and fresh content - however one ranks fast and keep climbing the result pages - the other one is not even showing 1 single result in google.

I have a few sites on my list which are not getting any love from google inspire of quality links and content that I keep building for several months (more than 6 in some cases).

Any idea what can I do to "shake" google and make it notice and rank these sites?

Thanks

Can you please elaborate your quality links and content strategy, what kind of links these are? I mean if you are working for more than 6 months then you must notice some positive results.

I build links in the following methods:
Private blog network (specifically article samurai & buildmyrank)
      Youtube video links
      forum links
      social bm
      comments on related blogs
and even link buying on high PR blogs.

I don't push it too hard so it wont look un-natural.
Most of my sites are doing ok and are getting nice results and good traffic from google.

But I have a few sites that are not getting any traffic or results from google... (yahoo and bing are loving them).

So I'm really not sure what I should do - hope someone can share from your experience.
      Thanks

          You need patience.

Google does not just toss out the best sites overnight.

Puts the mythical sandbox in perspective. If you suddenly
became #1, how about all the sites that dropped? Did you
cause them to be in the sandbox?

Sometimes a niche is dang hard to get even in the first 100.
It's not really about google love. It's about how much google
values the sites already there. If the top sites are the top
sites, with history, authority, etc., you may never break in.

So, you rely on yourself to get targeted visitors and forget
          about google.

Maybe, over time, with linkbait and authority building, you
may break in. But don't hold your breath.

There is no magic formula, although people keep saying there
          is.

Yes, there are sites that google may never replace with yours.
Notice how I rephrase the question.

            Love this one.

On a side note I agree with the OP. Ive actually done my own experiments on this and it seems to be niche specific. If I taget a decent competition keyword in the weight loss niche sometimes i will build 3 sites with similar (but unique) content and apply my secret sauce to all 3. In about 3-4 weeks whichever one ranks the highest is the one i continue with. The difference in rankings is sometimes REMARKABLE. This is one of the few things I have yet to explain in google's algo.

Social backlinks are good. Google usually requires these in order to trust the site. I had a similar problem with my sites. I began adding social bookmarks etc as I was told. I almost gave up until one day google decided to love me and shot my site through the ranks. I used a service called socialadr
