OK Should I do this before applying to Adsense

I was going to use my main resort site to apply since its a year old but
I found another site of mine I own about a year old, XYZbeachresorts.net
(not the real name but almost)

This site has bout 11 posts on it, I am not sure some of them may be scraped off posts about these other resorts, which if checked with copyscape might not be kosher.

I really dont pay too much attention to the site or rankings
If I use this one for applying, and they find dupe content on it, does that matter? I think it does

Can I go back and change the old posts?
I know thats not good for rankings, but I dont care about rankings I just want it to not be dupe content, so Adsense checks it and says, ok thats a year old site in your name with original content

what do you think

    You can apply with a site 1 day old and still get accepted, no need to worry.

      thats not what I heard, sure if its a blogspot blog, but the domain is old.
      If its a new domain you own, I dont think the same rules apply
      Plus I am in the Philippines, I want to make everything beyond question
