Sandboxed......... erm no

I have a question for all the users out their, since panda has been out has any one suffered from sand boxed?

I have been on this forum for about 6 weeks and for the last four weeks I have spent trying to get one of my own sites sand boxed just to see the limit I could push my back linking to before the so called sand box affect took over.

Now the site in question is my signature, in the last 4 weeks with the help of uaw, ping software etc I have built in the region of 1500 back links in 3 weeks just to my home page compared 65 for the last 12 months.

Two things I come to conclude - either I am very lucky / stupid or the boundaries of the so called sand box are much higher than we think they are.

any feed back would be nice

p.s guys please don't try what I did. The web site was one that I was not that interested in until it hit page 1 in a key word that I wanted.

I feel 1500 backlink in 3 week is pretty normal, you probably need like 100k/day to get sand boxed.

It's not the number of links, it's the quality. Build quality, relevant links, and you will come out of the sandbox.

My site was sandboxed after I did a 1000 social bookmark campaign. I have since been building quality links, and have come back better than ever.

It's also a question of anchor text diversity.

Plus what also plays a big role is if you are moving your site into a SERP with diligent competition. All it takes is a spam report and a manual review to blast your site into nirvana. If you are SEOing a site for a keyword noone cares about and you don't trigger any automatic penalties (like the anchor text thing above) then you should be fine.
